The Howell Carnegie District Library is a wonderful place in the heart of downtown Howell. It is a simple, easy to see library with lots of parking. It is more than a place to pick up a book, with so many options to borrow like movies, games, and more. It is a wonderful place for kids, with a play area, events, monthly worksheets, and workshops for different age groups. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have lots of programs for families and especially for children, supported by a used book sale. It is a great place for kids and adults of all ages.

My boys and I have always loved coming here! So many options and it seems like after Covid the options multiplied!! Ypu can borrow things like crickets. Label makers, movies, games and more!

Simple, easy to see library in the heart of downtown Howell. Lots of parking, although you may have to drive around the block once or twice.
