Both of our toilets needed repaired after purchasing a home. We purchased the “supreme” package with our house purchase. Apparently this is only standard coverage. And it only covered the parts inside of the tank. An entire toilet needed replaced due to a cracked tank and toilet being 14 years old. The total was over $1,000. The warranty only covers what is “inside the tank” per the representative. So absolutely none of it was covered. If you decide to go with this company read the coverage before purchasing as they will deny you coverage for necessities. Or I would recommend choosing a different company that is actually helpful. Horrifying that after making such a big purchase and investing in a home warranty to help in these cases they refused to assist. Do not recommend.

Worst investment ever. Got coverage with them on our new home and both the toilets started leaking and needed replaced. They said it’s not covered for the entire replacement just the hardware in the tank… I would not recommend at all. Better to just pay for the repairs yourself because you’re going to be doing that anyways!

APHW is easy to work with and it is easy to reach a person. Beth was able to answer all of my questions about my claim and she showed me how to find information on my claim on line.

Excellent. The representative was genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. This was my first experience communicating with this firm directly and this first impression really made all of the difference here. She is definitely an asset to their team. Hopefully I will never need them. But good to know they have good people over there should there ever be a need to.W. Southall

Wonderful people to deal with. Great Product, everyone should have a Home Warranty. Joey Murphree is my sales representative, OMG I couldn’t ask for a nicer, smarter, or more informed person to deal with. Thank You Joey! Thank You APHW.

The average insurance company, looking for any way to pay as little as possible. They denied the major repairs needed after the arctic freeze came through, but the repairs still had to be done. The plumber lowered the cost to help me cover my out of pocket costs for everything after APHW’s denial. APHW lowered the coverage after the fact since he lowered the quote to help me, nullifying that help. If my realtor hadn’t added it on I’d never use this company, and will be making sure the policy doesn’t renew. I understand why all the contractors I called didn’t want to work with them.

Do Not PURCHASE a warranty from this company. This is a scam. They will find a way to deny your claim. This is a scam. I am a realtor of 25 years and I hate that I have sold/assigned this product to my clients and even purchased one for my own home. They will find a way to deny your claim or want to repair/replace a part when the items need to be replaced.Realtors, NAR, Consumers, THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.Ruuuuunnnnn...do not walk but run the other way. Scam-Scam-Scam-Scam-Scam!Please be cautious of the posts with 4 stars as they are likely to be posted by the employees of the company. It is highly likely that the person posing as "BRIDGET" is also responsible for posting false and misleading satisfaction reports. If you carefully observe the comments, you will find that most of them use the names "Bridget/Fatih" and also mention Beth, Delynn, Christian, Zachary, and Brittany. It is evident that these comments are staged and falsified to enhance their reviews. Therefore, it is advisable not to trust such reviews.

I had my heat go out and a contractor come out to fix it. After calling the company I was told that I had to put the contractor on the phone with them prior to the work being done before any approval could be made. I don’t understand why I have to hold a contractor hostage and tell him to delay doing work while we await approval from your company. After calling I asked what about a pipe bursting and water pouring all over my home. I was told they would still have to speak to the contractor before work was done!

This place is such a scam. I had two basic repairs and they found reasons to reject both claims. What they cover is so limited and so narrow, you'll never fall within their coverage requirements. Save your money and the hassle.

They only cover what they want to. They totally disregarded an estimate from my roofer for a leak and told me that they didn’t cover flashing and I said that it wasn’t on my estimate report and they said they know but when they talked to my roofer they mentioned replacing the flashing after repairing the leak so they could get out of covering the leak. Typical insurance scam . PITIFUL…****** sent an email in a reply to their response to this review to contact them and never got a response back .

How do you go about finding a contractor that accepts the home warranty? It’s so frustrating when you need something repaired!! I did give 3 stars for getting my garage door opener replaced but only because the company helps out seniors with very limited income..stars are for contractor not the warranty company..UPDATE: compressor is bad in ac unit, contractor gave a quote & you guessed it! APHW will only pay $1600 on a $2400 cost, what’s the purpose of a warranty when we still have to pay so much out of pocket, plus the deductible? It was categorized as normal wear and tear. And still no contractors to be found for appliance repairs

Oh my goodness, Kristin could not be more helpful and friendly!! I felt she was truly working hard to help me with my situation. The company I was working with was definitely giving me the runaround. I have learned to definitely call the small businesses first. The big businesses don’t seem to care about you once they have your money. Thank you Kristin!!
