Awful place to have you meat processed. We weighed the meat promptly because we thought they shorted us the year before. We were short 100#s on hamburger on a whole cow.we called asking where was the rest of the meat. Then they “found” our missing meat. Weirdly it had labels that didn’t match the others, and we were still short in the end. These guys really screwed us.

I’ve been shopping here for years. They are always helpful and their meets surpass anything you can get in the grocery stores.

I moved in down the road, i love coming here now. I love their meat. The lady's are always very friendly. They make great quick sandwiches for work when I am running late. I can spend $50 there and feed my family for a week. Great savings. 100% thank you

From great meats to AMAZING sandwiches this place is a 5 star all day. The staff is friendly and courteous. It is a Jackson staple and has been for many years. There is a reason they have been around so long! My advice is to at least stop in and get a sandwich for lunch sometime, you will NOT be disappointed!

Great place to take your deer. However, beware of ordering the venison meat sticks. This is the second time in 3 years that I have had some "hot pepper cheese" venison hunter's sticks made from some of my deer. Despite all of the packages being labeled "Hot Pepper Cheese," none of them have cheese in them. Last time it happened, I mentioned it and they offered to replace them but the drive is over 2 hours round trip and I just couldn't find the time.Just stick to the typical deer processing and you'll stay happy. Besides the meat stick fiascos, they usually do a great job and I typically receive as much meat as my estimation tables suggest.

Best (beef) butcher shop! Best prices! Best lunch, deli sandwiches and soup! Shop here and support the little guy. Best deer processing!

I take most all of my deer here for processing. The price is not fair and they do a great job. I always weigh the meat after and always recieve what i think i should. Around 50 lbs for a mature doe and upwards of 70 for a buck.

I have been a long time customer, but after today's experience I doubt I will ever buy here again. I asked for 10 sirloin steaks, and once I got home and opened the package I found 3 of them died out on the ends and one so thin it resembles lunch meat. I made comment that they looked dry and was told that they were cut fresh that morning. Pure lie, since I was there at 11 and they open at 9. Don't trust them if you can't see what they are wrapping. Your best bet would be to buy from a chain store.

Not only did they have my cape done same day but also had my deer processed 2 days early. I am very happy with the job that they did for me.

Love this place! I always bought from A&A but a friend who worked there told me how unsanitary & nasty it was. I remembered my aunt loving Beef Barn so i went & haven't stopped since! They do accept EBT & their prices are outstanding, especially for the quality of their meats. I like that they've got awesome seasonings & deli meats/cheeses as well.

The Beef Barn is excellent for deer processing! They're always friendly and fast. I've taken my bucks there for the last 3 years and I don't plan to go anywhere else. They process a lot of deer and do a great job. The cherry maple jerky is incredible.

I've been going here for years and the people are friendly most of the time. I've recommended them for years for people to go to. I even went out of my way to keep going there to support them when the Cooper Street bridge was out, even though it was a nuisance to do so. However, I'm done going there. The people are less friendly than they used to be, they've gotten sloppy, and they won't do anything but bulk package the meat anymore. However, they will make you a sandwich? So they're no longer a full service meat counter and they're at least as expensive as a grocery store... and the meat isn't what I would call premium anymore (no idea where they source it these days since the shortage in May, but the quality has gone downhill).. you might as well go somewhere else and pay less for the same or better.

The meat always looks beautiful, the store is always spotless, the employees are down-to-earth and kind people and there is usually never a wait to get your food. Love these guys here!
