I was in the south side DG this afternoon (2/6/24) and whoever the young man working the register was deserves a promotion immediately. Wish I had caught his name, but he had excellent customer service skills, and just had that positive energy. Give him a raise and promotion immediately! I would return to this location just for the vibes.

Some female manager yesterday stated they did not have to accept bottle returns actually by Michigan Treasury law you do as a retailer if you sell that said one then you said you could turn them down by the liquid in the bottom of the bag that had already drained out of the said bottles that you make the cashier count which means they are transferred into another bag or place no you cannot and will be reported the one with a couple cigarettes I can understand and didn't realize it was in there or it would of been discarded however you should not train your trainee wrong in laws as management!

Went in there with a buddy of mine who is handicapped and they were close to having a lawsuit because of clutter on the floor. We were in the isle with the clearance stuff and we didn't see a box of crapp that was over spilling onto the floor and my buddy tripped on it.This store doesn't seem too concerned about handicapped people or the isles would be clean of debris and free of obstruction. My buddy had a broken neck and his disease naturally fuses his spine together- making it impossible to move his or most of his spine.Walking in the store scares him at times because he has maneuverability and the boxes that are piled high on stock carts. He does like to use a cart when he is in bad pain and it's hit or miss if they'll have carts available.He would shop elsewhere but going elsewhere means going farther away from home and being disabled with a limit view, he prefers layouts he knows. Dollar general and family dollar are small stores with what he needs but is limited to Family dollar because he simply doesn't feel safe in there.

Honestly this is a good store, no issues with clerks or anything, the aisles are kind of tight but it’s a small building, they have a lot of items as well. I shop here for small on the go items!

Went there to inquire about a job the cashier told me they were hiring for all positions including the one I was interested in which was a shelf stocking person and I had to go online to fill out the paperwork , which I did it was automated and it kept telling me that the only opening was sales representative's which I did not want so someone was telling me the wrong information . But as for the store it's a great place to shop.

The store smells funny and the employees would rather chat with customers and each other while the line builds up.7 people in line an the cashier not ringing people up, not doing a cash exchange and the cashier just talks to a customer about kids. Most of the inventory is missing. Walking through, there's a lot of empty shelves. It's a poorly operated store.

it's no different than any other Dollar general things are clearly marked and well placed. what makes this one good it's solely based on the employees that make it work.

They've cleaned up the interior. It used to have stock in the aisles and. It was hard to shop. Now it is clean and friendly. Love shopping at this store.

They didn’t apply the BOGO free discount, they also forgot my reciept and overcharged me by $11. They don’t have the right phone number listed either.
