I took my car into Firestone on Saturday 2/17. They were very patient with me because it took me longer to get up there than expected due to an issue changing the spare. Over the phone I was told if I didn’t get there by 11am then it wouldn’t be done until Monday, which I understood. When I arrived to drop off the car I was told it would be done Sunday. Sunday comes, no call, I figured it ran over so I waited and called Monday and was told it was done. I asked about the tires shaking, which I asked them to look into originally, and she said “oh I thought they called you about this” then proceeded to tell me it was a transmission issue. When I arrived to pick up the car I was told it wasn’t safe to drive even off the lot. I did drive it down the street to Fosters who examined the car and said there are absolutely nothing wrong with my trans, but my wheels needed to be balanced. The wrong diagnosis from Firestone took two days out of my life. I don’t live in Jackson and was stranded here because I was told a WHEEL BALANCE issue was a trans issue. Firestone couldn’t tell wheels needed to be balanced? Also if they would have called me Sunday when it was actually done I could have found all this out sooner and continued on with my life.

SCAM. Staff is great, Kim is horrible. If you deal with her she will make sure they take your money and do nothing.

My recent visit to was a tale of two experiences that compelled me to share my thoughts. The majority of the staff here demonstrate exceptional professionalism, treating me with respect and fairness during my previous scheduled tire replacement. Their pleasant demeanor and helpful attitude created a positive atmosphere, making me feel valued as a customer.However, this positive impression was quickly and fiercely overshadowed by an unfortunate encounter with an individual named Kim. Her condescending and dismissive attitude directly contrasted with the outstanding service provided by the rest of the staff. Despite the evident dedication of the team, Kim's behavior left a lasting negative impact.It's disheartening to consider that Kim may hold a significant role, possibly even as an owner (Because I mean come on, who else would have to confidence to keep the same hair style for 40 years and be rude to customers all with the stench of fish on her breath) as her attitude suggests a lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Such behavior is a stark contrast to the exemplary service provided by the other staff members. It's crucial for any business, especially one in customer service, to address such disparities to ensure a consistently positive experience for all customers.

they did ever they needed to do to my car but they trashed the hell out the inside of my car, the steering wheel was all dirty from their nasty hands & I refuse to let that guy work on my car ever again!

Customer service is the worst. My appointment was at 11, got there early. Was told they would get to my car after lunch. Was still sitting there at 1:30.

Kim is very rude. My husband called regarding new tires for his car. He asked some questions which should be clearly listed in the specs and Kim told him to “Google it”. She was condescending and acted like he was bothering her. Kim does not seem trustworthy and we decided because of our experience with her that we could not do business with this Firestone. After reading other reviews on staff rudeness and ineptitude, we made the right decision. We called Discount Tire and had a wonderful experience and had our questions answered.

Well I have a popping in my front end of my van I went and asked free estimate and the woman said that I would have to get a full vehicle examination over $20 instead of a free estimate I have to pay money have an appointment for Tuesday at 9 not sure if I will keep that I am going to check with other garages for a free estimate for the front end repair

Such a joke! I made an appointment over a week ago to get an oil change & tire rotation. Scheduled it for 11:00 on Memorial day thru an "appointment specialist". Get there & was told I was supposed to drop it off first thing in the morning. I should have checked my email. I asked you don't call? Noooo- I guess a phone call was too much work? They couldn't fit me in. She offered to reschedule but I also work which is why I scheduled it for a holiday!

I normally do my own Brakes for certain reasons. When I do them myself I never have issues. Went in last year to have them done because I had no time. First set squealed and only got worse. Took my car back in and had to get them replaced because they were bad brakes. The next set was fine until I started hearing the squeal come back but only when backing up. Just replaced them myself. Found the brace on the brake was rubbing into my calipers. Was also told my hub bearings were good but my driver side is bad. Will be doing that myself as well.Service: Brake service & repair

The store manager Kim is extremely rude and unprofessional. Upcharged my requested services without telling me any of the pricing and nothing listed transparently in the store. I found out the total when being emailed the work order automatically from the web account I created. I called asking for an explanation why she changed my conventional oil change and tire rotation for $30 to a specialty oil change and VEHICLE INSPECTION for $110. This seems illegal to do. She had zero explanation, no apology and said she would “tell them in the bay to use conventional oil if that will make me happy”, and still charged me for the vehicle inspection I did not ask for. I arrived at the store to pickup my car soon after this call because I did not feel comfortable having my car serviced there when trust was instantly broken by this moron. When I arrived i was subjected to being completely ignored while she made personal phone calls talking about what she wanted for lunch etc. When I informed her I’d be contacting corporate she said all that will happen is I will get a phone call from HER which she was very confrontational about. This was my first and last visit. I can’t imagine how many people they/she have taken advantage of.Service: Oil change

Mechanics caused damage to vehicle during alignment, refused to reimburse.I wouldn't trust them, and I've found more reliable and less expensive mechanics elsewhere.
