While I didn't score any jaw-dropping treasures on my visit to the Jackson Goodwill today, I had a pleasant experience thanks to the friendly and hardworking staff. They were clearly passionate about their jobs and kept the store clean and organized, even with a steady stream of shoppersWhile the selection might not have been the biggest, I appreciate the variety and affordability that Goodwills offer. It's always fun to browse and see what unique finds might pop up. Overall, it was a worthwhile stop, and I'll definitely be back to keep exploring the ever-changing treasure trove.

Multiple times I've gone through to donate, each time there is one person out there. He gets upset everytime about not having enough bins, he is there by himself, all around rude.

For a place that sells used items such as clothing, purses and other things you are very expensive. This stuff is given to you for free and you over price used clothing. Place was better when I was younger. You could get 3 or 4 outfits and shoes for under $20 and now they want $20 for a used purse. I'd rather throw my stuff I'm donating in the trash rather than give it to you to over price.

I like second hand, but I have never seen as high of prices at another Goodwill like I have at Jackson Goodwill. Went to many Goodwills all over the state of MI. Not sure if they have local taxes or what, but there is no reason some of the items can't be a 1 or 2, or 50 cents. When all the items are 3-10$ or more!... it overprices the lower end dollar store type items or cheaper items. Carousel Consignments, Habitat for Humanity Restore, and st. Vincent tend to have a more local feel with better prices for quality. Nothing wrong with the ppl at the counter or stocking around the store at Goodwill, but consider the idea of fair pricing and just in general making more sales to get rid of stuff. I used to work at goodwill, and they would price things at that location cheap to sell and get new inventory. These locations in jackson are quite a bit different with prices, and i only buy a couple things for that reason.

Typical high Goodwill prices for the same used goods as other reasonably-priced stores.

I have never seen a thrift store this expensive. I usually go to St Vincent De Paul but they are closed for renovations. I was shocked at the prices at GW!!

There is a ton of stuff here, but I cannot speak highly enough of the employee you had working there Saturday evening! My 1.5 year old was anxious to get out in the car and screaming and crying. Your employee looked at us and said I will try to get you guys out as soon as I can, then proceeded to sing to my son who instantly went quiet and listened! Thank you!

It is very clean, well organized, and the staff are very good at customer service. They have a wide selection of things to choose from that are in good shape. Some even outstanding shape or brand new. The selection changes rapidly with new items daily. They even offer sodas to buy, as well as candies.Their selection of Halloween costumes and decorations is MAGNIFICENT! I highly recommend going to this Goodwill for your Halloween costume needs before anywhere else. They have done a phenomenal job of putting out an outstanding selection of sizes and styles of a myriad of costumes. They even have rose dedicated to decorations, masks and headwear for Halloween. However, their pricing is confusing. There is no real consistency with the pricing. You can pick up two of the exact same items and one is 529 and the other is two 29 but they are the exact same thing. They even have items that you can buy around the corner at Jo-Ann fabrics. Brand new for less than what they are selling the product for in their store. They also do not participate in the normal Goodwill color of the week discount offering. It is the only Goodwill I have ever been to in the United States that does not have a color of the week that is 40 to 50% off.The manager is very kind and understanding and can be negotiated with on price when you can show that there's the exact same item for much much less.

I found a few things I really liked in my size was excited but there was no price on anything so took my idems to the register and got the total for em and was shocked at how high it was it ridiculous to be charging them prices for used products I refuse to pay that much told the cashier how I felt and I left very unhappy and upset I will never shop there again and I recommend anyone who thinks they can find something there to know u can pay the same prices for brand new clothing at a major store so be wear it's just ridiculous and unfair stay away from this store people

The staff was more than friendly and helpful, but I cannot in good conscience give more than 1 star for the appalling, criminal pricing this company is using. How can you justify mark ups and high pricing, on an inventory that you aqure totally free and make nearly 100% profit on? I found used items priced higher than they cost retail brand new. Simply put, Goodwill does not serve it's community or low income shoppers.

Staff is great and I know this isn't their fault, so don't anybody dare go after them. I know this is a corporate problem, so here goes: holy price gouging, batman!!! Since when have shoes worn halfway to the sole been worth $15 to $20?! Lamps for $65?!?! Can't find a damn thing that's reasonable anymore. My recommendation is to find other thrift stores.
