I was told that if I paid the fuel purchase option that I would be refunded the difference. I returned the car with just less than half of a tank. I contacted the manager twice, and have not received a resolution.I did receive a $50 rental refund (this is not the pre-paid fuel purchase) due to the car engine, making noise and shaking which I thought was fair as it did get me to the airport albeit scary.I would warn anyone against renting a car from Hertz and purchasing the fuel purchase option

The ladies were very pleasant curteous and knowledgeable. Even with it being just a couple days before Thanksgiving they were able to get me a seven passenger vehicle. My main problem was after I returned the vehicle on the evening of Thanksgiving. A couple days later I got a call asking when I was going to return the vehicle. I checked my account and they had charged my account an extra $100. They ended up trying to charge an extra $500. I had called the store where I received and also returned the vehicle and the lady I spoke with apologized for the inconvenience and said it would be taken care of, that there wouldn't be any extra charges. It did take eleven days for all extra fees to drop off but, everything as it should be now. Thank you so very much Tatiana, I hope I'm spelling your name correctly. Thank you.

The Jackson, MI Hertz is, by far, the best rental agency. Monique and Darianna are so friendly and helpful.

The girls in the office were so very helpful when I needed a rental. They worked with my insurance company and had me in a car that day. The man that was working in the garage even put air in my moms tire for her. Hands down, wonderful customer service. They made my day better with their smiling faces when I walked in the door.

The car was full of animal hair. Car acted like it was going to shut off while on the highway it was jerking called to talk to someone at customer service and was told a supervisor would call me back and still no return call very disappointed and frustrated

The only person working at this location, who referred to herself as the manager, is not able to answer questions about Hertz policies or packages. She would not give me information on how to escalate my complaint. She was unable to prioritize customers' needs on site and became easily flustered, cutting customers off mid sentence and interrupting left and right. When I called to ask about a charge on my credit card after returning my rental, she said that she always does "her best" to explain the packages to customers by "pointing to them on the counter" by where we sign off, and that it was unfortunate I did not understand what I was being charged for... yet she was incapable of explaining the package details to me. She even hesitated to give me her name when I asked for it. Very poor representation for the company, we will not be using Hertz again.

1st time renting from them. The young lady was very nice and professional and knew how to do her job very well. I will use this car rental again in the future.

They don't tell you that you have to return it with a full tank of gas and they very rude and put more charges on you

I called a day prior to set my rental up. Got told I was all good was told prices ect. The day comes that I had to take my car into the shop (I was out earlier so I called Hertz), I called to see if they could come a bit earlier since I was ready. They didn't have anything on file for me having a rental.They come pick me up. Take me back to company for payment ect. I was NEVER told over the phone about a deposit or the fact that they could deny me that same day KNOWING THEY WERE PICKING ME UP FROM A MECHANIC. WELL NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WAS DENIED via debt card and was now stranded on the opposite side of town (I'm pregnant as well)with doctors appointments to go to.Well being it's a Wednesday and everyone I know works Monday -friday. Hertz left me stranded with no option but walking in the cold home.Wouldn't recommend , poor service on their part.

The men that helped my Mom and I the other day were so nice. They had issues processing payments for a short time. Watson was funny and joked with us while we waited. After their system was back up, everything went really smooth. They were both very helpful and friendly.

Watson helped us out IMMENSELY when we had an Amtrak emergency and were left stranded with no transportation. I cannot express how amazing his customer service was and am beyond grateful for his help. 6/5 stars!

Watson literally saved us! Other rental car companies had failed, and we were beyond frustrated and stuck in another state, without a vehicle. Watson was so kind and helpful, made the process easy, and got us on the road quickly. We are beyond grateful!
