Friendly, professional, kind & knowledgeable describes EVERY employee I encountered here. I've never had such a great experience ANYWHERE. This was my first time here for an eye exam & glasses and felt so welcomed. I can not recommend this office enough.

Dr. Johnson, Alec, and Shania, were all a pleasure to work with. Answered all my questions and repaired my glasses while I was waiting. Very happy to return to my eye dr. for all my eye concerns.

I called the office on Brown St almost two months ago to schedule appointments for me, my fiance and my 4 children after looking up the providers for everyone's insurance (3 different insurance companies).and finding that MYEYEDOCTOR was a provider for all three insurance companies. I was clear with the person at that office when I scheduled the 6 appointments, that two of my children and myself had Medicaid through United healthcare and my other two children had Medicaid through Aetna and my boyfriend had private insurance through his job. I was assured by the person who answered the phone that all insurance were accepted, also your website says "all insurance is accepted here". So three independent queries resulted in my understanding that all of the insurance wasn't going to be a problem. The appointments for my children and boyfriend were made within 2-3 weeks, but for some reason, I was told I couldn't be seen until nearly two months later, on July 10th.
In all of that time, I have received several phone calls about the appointments. For one thing, someone from the office, called me on the 10th (2 days ago) and said that the doctor was out and I couldn't be seen that day so they were cancelling my appointment and the next available was not until August 7th! That wasn't acceptable to me because I have been without glasses for several months already and I had already waited almost two months for my appointment to be cancelled with no consideration to me or if that worked for me.
So, I went and scheduled myself an appointment at the North West office instead for Tuesday the 16th. When I originally made the appointments for my children and I, I had 2 vehicles. Unfortunately, in the past 6 weeks, I have been in 2 car accidents. The first one totaled my vehicle and left me without transportation for over two weeks, and the second one was two weeks ago and my vehicle is still at the body shop. Had I known that those things were going to happen, I would have rescheduled my children's appointments much further out to make sure I could bring them but since I don't have the ability to see into the future, I did not do that. I did have to reschedule their appointments due to not having any transportation on those days. I ended up scheduling them for the 17th, 3 of them on that day and then my other child by himself later in the month.
I got another call from the Cascades office today from Leah asking me to call about the appointments that were scheduled for this coming week.
Still through all of this, not a single word has been said to me about our insurance situation.
(My boyfriend had already had his appointment several weeks earlier)
I just called back to the Cascades office and was informed that the problem is that myeyedoctor doesn't accept MY insurance (or that of my children)!! So I have waited two months for my appointment, rescheduled my children, all for nothing!!! Not a single word about my insurance until today!!!!
I am more than frustrated! I have been wasting the past two months waiting for an appointment that I was never going to be able to attend! And if I had accepted the August 7th appointment that was offered to me as the next available one, I would have gone on for another month wasting my time to find out then that although your website and employees and my insurance company's list of providers all day that my insurance is acceptable, actually it isn't.
Not the best business practices if you ask me.

Excellent service, Dr. Johnson and the staff members are very professional and helpful.
Although the selection of glasses are small, they were able to find one that I liked.

Had a great appointment and overall experience. Alec was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly to get me started. Dr. Johnson, was very personable, and took the time to explain everything with me. My fitting with my wife was a breeze. Shania let me look, but did check to see if I had questions, and was very thorough about the cost of everything up front. I would highly recommend

First time going was today. What a wonderful experience! Alec was fantastic in getting me ready to see the Dr. Dr. Johnson was wonderful the exam was quick and painless. Shania was knowledgeable, excellent and very helpful with choosing my glasses. I will definitely be back! Thanks everyone for one of the most pleasant doctor appointments I have ever had!

Prompt, friendly and helpful. Made my daughter’s first eye exam a breeze. They did not try to push anything on us sales wise and they were very professional. Highly recommend them.
