“The staff at Walter's Equipment and Rental are fantastic. I've had a project waiting to be tackled for the last 5 years and they have all the machinery available to rent that I need. I'm looking forward to renting the trencher and have the added confidence that if my old concrete saw gives out mid-project, that they also rent those too! Much cheaper than buying tools and machines, using them once, and letting them rust away in my tool shed.”

“We've had our unit for one day!
As of right now, I'm positively impressed. The rental process was very easy, and a very nice use of technology gave it a very modern touch, and the unit is very clean.
The only issue (and single reason for 4 stars) is that the perimeters security of the facility is very compromised. The fence (approximately 20 feet) is falling outward.
If this is fixed, I'll gladly update my review!”
“My wife and I used 84th Street Storage over the last three years or so as we transitioned between houses. I can’t say enough good things about the stellar service provided! Tom was fantastic to work with - always friendly and helpful throughout the process. The facility is excellent - well lit, secure, well cared for. We never had any concerns about having our items stored there. All in all, we found the facility very affordable as well. If you have need for off-site storage of any kind, I would highly recommend 84th Street Storage!”
“So I met Heather yesterday and we hit it off! She’s wonderful and I’m sad she’s leaving but today she was super helpful w the codes and doors. I’m glad she was there to assist! The place is clean and very nice. Thank you for the warm welcome.. yes Heather was great. However there were several people Living in their storage units. Couple times after hours I’d find people wandering around and pungent smells of pot. One guy was riding on a bike thru the place!!! And the elevator closest to my unit- moving out was a task- it had been out for quite a few days. Staff are helpful tho”
“I was in a desperate situation. thankfully national storage was there for me when I needed it the most. Diana was there to help me with my move in. And helped me when I picked the wrong size unit. And Diana got me int the right size unit and a very good price. I was able to get moved in to the new unit today with just enough room for everything. And make everything work out. And honestly these are the reasons why I chose national storage over all the storage companies around Grand rapids. Between the people who work for this company and the price. Plus you can dive into the building and get your stuff unloaded and in your storage unit and stay safe and dry from outside. Thank you National storage”

We had plenty of time during the day to get in the storage unit which we appreciated. The unit was clean, the grounds were always well maintained, and the staff was very attentive! “I recently rented a truck and trailer to transport a car. Reservation and pickup were smooth. No issues with using the equipment either but had to return it using the app and had an issue and then was charged an extra day. Seemed to be a simple mistake but I was still dreading trying to get it sorted bc customer service is hard to come by these days and people never seemed to be empowered to fix any problems even if it’s a common sense thing. In this case I was happy to be wrong. I went in the next day and chatted with them to explain the situation. Jeremiah was the gentleman that helped me and he was awesome. He was understanding and reasonable and jumped right on it and fixed the mistake. He gave the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Mistakes happen but they took care of the problem promptly and professionally without BS or a runaround you often seem to get even with simple things. Honestly you can’t ask for much more than that so overall still an excellent experience. Will be using them again and don’t feel the need to look elsewhere after knowing they’ll actually take care of you through the whole experience. Again hats off to Jeremiah for the strong work.”

“This place was by far the easiest thing I experienced with dealing with a student in college. We had questions about the unit and they answered right away. We needed one on a pinch and the sign up was online and seamless. We did not need to meet with anyone or go through a bunch of paperwork. Just fill out an online form from their website and set up payment. Then we moved in at the time everything was approved. When it was time to move out, I emailed them and all set. I'll be sure to use them in the Spring when I move all my student's stuff back. Saves me a trip to move everything home and back for the summer.”
