Combat Ready Art is an awesome place with a cool tattoo-shop vibe. It offers hands-on classes in blacksmithing, knife making, welding, and metal art. Students can create items from basic hooks and forged snakes to their own knife, Damascus knives, swords, or even a wedding ring. The experience is great for family fun, teambuilding, parties, or just to learn something new. The instructor is absolutely amazing, super friendly, down-to-earth, and incredibly helpful. She is very patient, explaining every step, offering suggestions and tips, and is an overall amazing teacher. She provides helpful assistance to keep students on target and gives many options for customizing designs. The class feels welcoming, relaxed, and warm, making it a perfect first experience. Attendees are welcomed in, given a brief introduction to different designs and safety, and quickly begin forging mesmerizing hot steel. The results are incredible. Students come out feeling confident and thankful for the amazing time. It is a highly recommended experience, and many are eager to return for more classes.
We had such a great experience. Jutta is a fantastic teacher -- so knowledgeable, warm and patient, and generous with her time. My hypercurious 12 year old had lots of questions and a clear vision about what they wanted to create and she supported them each step of the way. We can't wait to go back in 2.5 months!

This is a great way to learn how forging/blacksmithing is done. The hands on experience that my brother and I had was amazing. We will definitely be doing it again.
