“Love this store! Easy to spend a couple of hours here. I first discovered this store for my daughter’s friend’s birthday party. The employees are very engaging, friendly and super helpful. I ended up leaving the party room and spending the 90-minutes building a mini-figurine by myself. I had a vision of what I wanted and was able to put it together with various “scrap” pieces and items in the store. I am so happy we found this store!”

“Absolutely amazing service! Our dog chewed my daughter's pointe shoes this morning (Thursday), literal days before her recital on Sunday. I called, they answered before store hours, and had new shoes waiting for me when they opened. I drove over three hours round trip and will gladly do it again!”

“Pups are welcome at this pub, score! This is just a stunning perch overlooking the Meadow Run Dog Park, esp. the pond area, and it’s literal heaven. Often times they have live music and/or food trucks on site, the dogs are beyond well taken care of here, and the staff also is so, so kind to guests. It feels like your personal ‘Cheers’ where everyone knows your name environ, it’s a must see!”

“Went to the Kalamazoo Bourbon Festival. Very well done. Spaced out pretty well. Room to move around. Some places to sit. Bar tenders were nice and informed. Crowd was friendly. Nice time.”

“We went to a concert there Saturday night. The concert was amazing but the security was lacking. There was a fight in the pit, and security just pointed their flashlight and finger at the people while bystanders were flagging them down and asking for help. I thought that was pretty crazy. I'm glad I was up in the seats.”

“Honestly...my experience here had nothing 2 do with food... shooting pool which is fun...but I had the pleasure of meeting the owner & got a complete rundown on him & the story behind Lamplighter...such an awesome guy...stop by & offer 2 help him finish his dream of finishing the Lamplighter... he's also 80...has a tendency 2 fall..but keep on working on the Lamplighter ??...I had the pleasure of helping him & learning the history behind the Lamplighter from the beginning 2 now...????”

“Wow, it's a mini apartment!Full kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, dishes, cups, bowls, pots, pans, exhaust fan, Palmolive bottle.I stayed in the king suite. Separate bedroom from living room. 2 TV's. Large chaise lounge sofa.Comfy bed and pillows. Lots of storage options for clothes. Dressers, closets. Full ironing table and iron. Large closet in bathroom.Close to the freeway and tons of shipping and restaurants. Free parking. Friendly service. Helpful.Main downsides: no exhaust in bathroom, and a big gap under the main door (I threw a towel down to cover the gap). Can hear the hallway clearly and your neighbor too.Pool area is far away but good and a nice courtyard.Laundry room for guests with many dryers out of commission and the room was very cold.Bring back bar soap! The Palmolive and Dove liquid soap kept bubbling and don't rinse off completely. Plus they smell strong.”
