When you walk in, you are instantly greeted by a knowledgeable person, ready to guide and provide next steps. I used to be with a bigger bank because I have a wide variety of needs. I've been with this CU for over a year now and I have not stumped them, nor have I ever been disappointed with their solutions. I guess my only regret is that I did not switch to ConsumersCU sooner.

Eric at the kalamazoo drake and west main corner is above and beyond a people person. He went to added measures to not only help, but recommend very well though out next steps to my situation. This summer I put all my savings in Consumers 5.4% CD. That was a great deal, but what really impressed me was their customer service. I met everyone from the Regional manager Josh on down. Very friendly, down to earth people. (Kelsey or Roy greet me every time I walk in). When I heard their personal and business accounts give 4% interest I was sold. I went through the task of completely switching all my accounts over from MSUFCU where I’ve banked for 35 years.Usually an arduous undertaking, the bank manager Brandy and regional manager Josh scheduled a conference room and spent two hours switching everything over with me in one go. I have never had this kind of attentive service at a bank. Turns out their online banking is superior to MSU, too. I can see ALL my accounts in one place, vs different logins for my personal and business accounts. And they send helpful and informative emails vs constant announcements about the newest branch opening (looking at you, MSU).Months later, we unexpectedly bought a house and we used Consumers for our mortgage. Their mortgage officer Ben Belloli was BEYOND responsive and efficient and gave us the best terms, too.In this age of automation and anxiety, this kind of personal, warm and effective service is balm to my soul. For my personal account and as a business owner, I cannot recommend Consumers more highly.

They’re awesome!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I have had a lot of fraudulent activity, and they usually catch before me. They girlie me tips to AVOID the fees.

Our Mortgage lender, Heidi Bish, Kristina Purser, and the team at Consumers Credit Union are great. The process is well organized. They answered all my questions and their online systems were very easy to use. After I closed on my new home loan, I decided to move all of my personal bank accounts and automatic deposits to the CU. Thank you for helping me feel like I am your only customer.
