The American Cancer Society Discovery Shop in Kalamazoo, Michigan, is a quality resale shop operated by local volunteers. Located in the Westwood Plaza, it offers a great selection of unique and quality merchandise at affordable prices. The shop provides a variety of items including clothing, accessories, jewelry, hard goods, special serving dishes, and glasses. Merchandise spans many genres from retro to modern, with many brand new items and pieces from premier designers. All merchandise is donated by the community, and proceeds fund cancer research and local programs. The store is a clean, well-put-together hidden gem where displays are neat and beautiful. The volunteers are always smiling, kind, friendly, helpful, and efficient, creating a perfect, positive environment. Customers are treated like the special people they are. With frequent great sales and an ever-changing inventory, you never know what treasure you will find.
Well organized clothing racks, nice displays. Not cluttered! The staff is pleasant and welcoming. Definitely upscale in every aspect but the prices, which were mostly reasonable.
