“We were in town for a happy occasion- to adopt our new baby! We weren’t 100% sure how many nights we would need to book, and ended up needing to extend by another night. The hotel staff was immediately accommodating and gave us our previous room back right away. They even left us a complimentary bottle of bubbly in our fridge!

The hotel location is perfect, right downtown and easy to walk many places and a super quick <5 minute drive to the hospital, which was our purpose in booking this location.

I used the spa in the hotel to get a pedicure since we had a couple days of just eating around, and the services were excellent.

Also, the hotel is a convention center (it was not very busy or any obvious conventions going on while we were there) so there main facilities are quite spacious; lots of cozy places to sit and read or work.

We ate dinner at the Brick & Brine restaurant located inside the hotel, which was delicious.

Very convenient that there is also a Starbucks and a breakfast restaurant inside the hotel.
Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in the area, it’s pricier than some other options but worth it in our opinion.”

“The room was very clean, and smelled great. The queen suite was very spacious and I loved having a freezer in the apartment sized fridge! The location is convenient, and the staff (especially Zeus) are friendly and helpful. I am very happy we chose to stay here and will stay here again when visiting Kalamazoo!”

“Very peaceful and quiet there is a stinch when you first walk into the rooms , I believe it’s because the rooms has been closed up nothing frebreez can’t fix . Overall the rooms are spacious and clean.”

“I love this place. Great location. The hotel had a very nice citrus aroma. The double queen bed room was large + comfortable + 3 different pillow types. Very clean! Complimentary Breakfast service was excellent! I would stay here again.

It was a Monday and Bells Brewery was closed so we have a great, fairly-priced meal at walking-distance ROCA.”

“I chose this hotel over my usual hotel because of the hot tub. Unfortunately I was not able to use it. The first day I went, it was full of water and running, but it was closed. The second day, it was completely drained. I did have the pool to myself both days, though.
I chose a room leading to the Atrium. It was great not having to walk down a hall way and across the hotel to get to the pool.

The free breakfast was great. I loved being able to choose any entree from the breakfast menu. Although, an explanation of how it worked at check in would have been nice. I didn't recieve my vouchers until my second day, when I booked my room for another night.

My room was clean and comfy. A chair would have been nice to sit in, though. I didn't really like having to sit on the bed all the time. The desk chair was comfortable, but I didn't want to sit in it to relax and watch t.v. A microwave in the room would have been nice as well.
The fridge was the perfect size.

The hotel was generally quiet. Children in the Atrium were noticeable, but I loved the sound of children's laughter.

I live in Kalamazoo and I knew where the hotel was, but I still drove past the entrance. The sign is very small and hard to see.

All staff members were very friendly. I have no complaints about any one.

Overall, I loved this hotel and will definitely choose it again when I need a mini staycation.”
