Yesterday, I had a performance at the Jolliffe Theater at the Epic Center. My brother (the drummer), my husband and I made the 2-hour drive from Detroit to Kalamazoo. The moment we parked I realized I left my clothes, jewelry, and shoes at home!! 😬 No time to go back. Showtime was in 2 1/2 hours!😯 So, I smiled, took a deep breath, dismissed the panic and trusted that God was going to do something amazing.
Being completely new to Kalamazoo with ZERO time to shop around I Googled boutique shops nearby and God kept pointing me to Lana's Boutique. Sure enough Leah (who was so helpful!) assisted me as I put the perfect outfit, shoes and accessories (jewelry plus scarf and sweater for costume changes) and was back at the theater an hour and 20 minutes before curtain! Whew!
To locate a shop in a short amount of time, before I had to be on stage in a dress and accessories that PERFECTLY fit the World War I chanteuse character I sang was a miracle! 🙏🏼 Thank you Leah and Lana's Boutique! 😊 I highly recommend.”

“Went to Golden Needle to buy a suit for my wedding. Obviously, choosing a good suit for such an occasion is not a choice to make lightly. The staff was very helpful and extremely knowledgable. I told them what I was thinking about and was then given many options. The owner knows his stuff. The suit was altered a couple times after it arrived (I have an unusual shape and always need alterations) and afterward everything looked amazing. Very happy with how it turned out and I'd recommend Golden Needle to anyone in the Kalamazoo area.”
