“I was in Kalkaska visiting my sister & and brother-in-law, and at the time, they seemed to have a very reasonable price on gas, so I only stopped quickly to fill up! I have a mobil card, so it's not necessary to go inside, unless your looking for more than gas. Seemed like a nice station though. Clean & well kept outside!”
“The customer service at this station is beyond compare. I was zipping along and forgot my wallet at the counter. The young man could have easily pocketed my cash and said he never seen it getting an easy wad of money for himself with no one the wiser. Yet he chose to be a good person and kept my wallet safe until I found it missing and returned to retrieve it. There are not many young men these days that are stand up like that young man is. I can not say enough good about how he saved my day by his simple actions.”

“Because I live close by I frequent this store a lot. The people are very accommodating in any way they can be. The restrooms are closed because of the BS pandemic so I am fine with it. The store is well stocked with the normal convenience store items as well as a small deli with some fantastic food choices.”

“The employee stocking the store after close was a life saver. We took Google Maps' word that the Shell station in Kalkaska was open 24 hours a day when our low fuel light came on while pulling our trailer (meaning we had about 25 miles left and nothing had been open in the previous 30 miles). It wasn't open, but driving back through town, we saw her in the store. She was kind enough to open a pump back up for us, let us fill our tank, and allowed us to finish the rest of our trip to Graying. Thank you so much!!!”

“Great Country Gas Station. I’m far from a regular here, but stop in now and then. I stopped in for a water while out looking for my lost dog. I asked the cashier (Laurie) if anyone had mentioned seeing a lost dog. She took down my information and said she’d mention it to the regulars as they come in and pass it on to her relief. Most gas stations would send me in my way, I appreciate them taking the time to keep an eye out and spread the word.”
