“One of my favorite markets! I love that they carry local products. Check out the weekly ad, it changes on Sundays, for sales and deals.
My favorite products to get here are Michigan milk and cream in a glass bottle and Michigan Amish butter. Look for the sale shelf in the back for the best bargains but check the quality when selecting items.
The staff are always friendly and helpful! They have knowledgeable butchers who will take the time to answer questions and help with any special cuts.
The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because I wish they had a rewards system!”

“Excellent gas prices & IF You Use Your Kroger Card Well Even Cheaper. With the rise in everything now I still go here & will continue to. I've gotten bad gas 2x now from Speedway & 7-Eleven Before. So Now I Tend To Stay Where Ik I've Had No Issues W Whatsoever. Grab my smokes there as well n I'm omw to finish my day or evening ect depending on what's all goin in fir that day. “Pretty cool dollar general! First time I've been inside of a DG market, wish the one by my house was a market. They even have fresh meat, fruits and veggies! Just like other DGs but this one has the extra grocery options.”
“Sav A Lot at this Bay City location is clean neat orderly well stocked and good deals expecially meats. The staff are friendly and work hard. Kroger is fine for our variety but Sav A Lot has many low cost deals especially meats we think this is way way better then Aldi which we are not impressed with at all.”
“I love this place. If you like seasoning your food with real herbs and no additives. This is the place. Instead of buying it in bulk online you can come here and get what you need usually without waiting. I find it actually cheaper than buying seasoning at Walmart that have a bunch of junk added to it. Many healthy options as well for oat meal, flax seed, herbal teas, shampoo, and all natural cleaning products. There is no other store like this in the tri city area with as many options. I cant tell you how many times I've ordered herbs and teas online to get damaged products and then you cant return herbs. I'd much rather come here where I can trust I am getting a quality product.”

One item, I wouldn't mind asking for a price. but 7?? ?- ??Occasionally it's a clearance item, but that shouldn't matter. “I was very pleased to find out that there the nicest workers ever when I had broke down in there parking lot with my car and during that time frame the head manager himself from the morning shift around 9a.m. on 8-27-2019 had done anything and everything in his power to try getting my car going which would have took a jump except for I couldn't see that the battery cable wires at the time were very caroded to the point there no way until Thelen Honda had took and recieved my car after it was towed there in which I had gotten it serviced for free this time since I didn't have the car very long. I want to extend to everyone who lives or travels through the area the Meijer on Wilder Rd. 48706 to shop this location their all kind and curtious even when you need help finding something inside the store they take you to the direct location of the item. If I would have caught the managers name I sure would list his name in here for better recognition for his good deeds. As of today 7-22-2024 there still curtius and helpful”
“I thought when I walked in that it was gonna be another typical "Dollar General" store. But much to my surprise it was a very very clean store, I mean they are all clean but this particular store was spotless! Even the parking lot looked good.The whole store was stocked very well with no empty spots on the shelves. I was amazed at how big their cooler section is.The employees were very friendly, courteous and helpful. I'm not sure how many other stores they have in Bay City but this is a good one!”
“Very convenient if you live right in town. Obviously higher prices than big chains, but I have seen little stores like that price gouge WAY worse than they do. I have gone there for small grocery trips when I just can’t stomach the idea of dealing with Walmart people and my bill is never terrible. The cashiers are nice, the chicken tenders in the deli are delicious. I’ve never had an issue with their deli meats and they carry glass bottle milk that we can’t stop buying. Nice frozen section. Good quality produce. They even have a decent deodorant/shampoo aisle.”

“Good place, nice prices, but very frequently run out of things such as pokemon cards, cheez-its and pop tarts. Overall good, but the checkout is so slow. During school lunch, you have to wait behind 15 kids. It takes up the whole break!”

“Place is along busy route. But it is easily accessible. Big store; many tall aisles; fruits & vegetables easily seen and accessed "right there" at entrance. As one enters, special bins carry special sales if the day (on sale items). All aisles are heavily stocked with very large variety of food items of all kinds. The stock is particularly "loaded" with the Kroger brand items--almost all of which are less expensive but, in my view, just as high in quality. Sometimes, because the shelving is so high, it can occasionally be difficult to retrieve an item without store help. The shelving us high because if the volume if products.”

“They have a great variety of grocery items. They have a meat counter and a butcher. They also process venison there. However if you want to process your own and bring it in they can make meat sticks in other items for you. The prices were good for the quality. I bought 10 lbs of ground beef at a reasonable price. All the employees were nice and helpful. The owner is local. Is NOT a Foreigner owned business.”
