So do not buy a car from #Carmax I bought a Nissan leaf that only had an electric range of 150 miles. Being an Uber driver this is not enough miles. They have a 30 day money back guarantee, I returned it. I than bought a 2020 Chevrolet bolt ev premier which is supposed to have 259 miles range. The place where I bought it from (CARMAX) Kentwood, Michigan which was three hours away. Needless to say they programmed the car to only charge at 78%. They didn't disclose this to meet at time of purchase .On average I was only getting 120 miles on a full charge. I took it in and they did a diagnostic test to #markchevrolet and they charged me 300 dollars yet nothing changed with my car. I than took it to another mechanic shop who found a little bit deeper than the last diagnostic check. I took the diagnostic check to #lafontainechevrolet who replaced the battery it was defective. I was so happy. I get in the car and it's charged max 170, and it's still programmed to charge to 80%. It will charge past the 89% now but at a very low speed and the highest battery mileage I can get is 190 instead of 260. Anyone have any ideas for me on what I can do to get this resolved. Also, through the radio there is a charging icon that shows it's set to 100%, but by the speedometer it's set to 80% and it's charging by that. I know there is a class action suit against CARMAX for not relaying information about the cars issues I will be reaching out to one of this lawyers. This car has been a nightmare since I bought it.

These people have no idea what they’re doing when it comes to business owners. They are refusing to submit our documents to the finance company who approved us and at this point I will be calling corporate. We drove 2.5 hours AFTER being approved for financing and having our vehicle of choice delivered from another state, sat there for 4 hours while they shuffled our bank statements from both business and personal bank accounts and check stubs (from paying ourselves) around and somehow can’t understand the difference between a W2 employee and a general contractor or sole proprietor. This has been the most frustrating process ever!!! I will be calling corporate TOMORROW! This has discrimination written all over it!

I want to give it a one star but the lady that sold us the car was great. The car was and clean when we purchased it... We went through a car wash and started to notice chips all over the car. Once we noticed a few when we started to look closer they were everywhere. I called immediately. They asked for pictures. I sent them, the guy said that's really bad take the car to this specific shop. They said they were going to take care of it. This is where things go south. I waited a few days and had to keep calling for days to find the status. They kept saying everything was fine, and stupid me, I believed them. After calling everyday for two weeks and getting closer to the point I couldn't return the car. They finally answered because I wouldn't get off the phone until I had something in writing. That's when they said they wouldn't fix the whole car, just the bumper... I said ok I want to return the car. He said ok get it here before we close and we can make that happen... I was two hours away and was not going to be able to make it there in a helicopter. I said I will take the day off and taxi back home, can you please give me a day since this is new information you have been keeping from me, He just said no and didn't even apologize.I will never buy a car from carmax again. Such a scam. I spent hours on the phone calling the shop and carmax and given a complete runaround after telling me they would paint the whole car waiting for their 45 days to expire and then just saying, we will paint the bumper. And said here is a paint marker for all the chips. Every 3 or 4 car washes I have to walk around with a paint marker and cover little chipsDespite all of that my wife likes the car, I am still pissed like 6 months later. So mad still that I have written my first review ever, in hopes that no one will make the same mistake I did. Every time I see their name I get pissed.Furthermore, They have this standard response if some one writes something bad. I have reached out twice with NO RESPONSE. Thanks for pretending you care carmax

We found exactly the car we wanted, at a good price, and had great follow up post sale when we had a very minor problem. The only issue I had was communication during the sales process. Whenever I talked to someone it was a different person, I got automated texts that weren’t applicable to my stage in the process, and it took about four different tries to actually get our express pickup set. Every single person I worked with individually was great, Carmax corporate just needs to review and fix their customer communications.

We were treated fairly and considerately as we purchased our new Mini Coop. I appreciated the sales person who worked with us. He was knowledgeable and made our experience wonderful.

Great experience! Quick, seamless and drive away with a sweet ride. Surprising how nice it is to buy a car without pressure. When you know what you want, what your acceptable price range is- head on over to Carmax!

They were very quick to help us and easy to work with. They were able to work with our bank loan and got us out the door in under 2 hours, even staying late to make sure things went smoothly.

I was going to pay full price for a vehicle. But CARMAX wasn't willing to work with me so they lost a customer and I bought the same car else where willing to work for me.

We had major difficulty when the car was transferred. It took a number of weeks to get it from Columbus, Ohio to Grand Rapids , Michigan. Trevor did say they would repay the transport fee to us.
