“I wish I could give them a million stars!!!
The staff is absolutely AMAZING- every time I go in there I feel incredibly welcomed. I love all the little personal touches they have- especially the little fairy house.
I appreciate the staff so much, thank you for being my new post office. You guys are beyond great”

“Excellent customer service at this location. I accidentally used flat rate boxes on a few packages and the employee fished out the boxes from the bin and provided different options to ship...all as they were closing.”

“This office is great the woman who works there (like every day) helps so much and cares and knows a lot. She is really honest about when to not waste money on paying for expedited shipping when priority will do just fine. Thank you!”
“Very nice postmaster. She helped me resolve an out of town PO Box renewal issue, which I appreciated. Thank you for that!
Parking is odd. I require a handicap spot which, at this post office, you have to approach as you are headed northbound, and it is on the street.
I was not prepared for that and took a spot at the back side of the building near their loading dock.”

“The best interaction I’ve ever had at a post office. Byron was a pleasure to deal with, and awesome to talk to! Had a passport appointment, showed up early and he rocked it out of the park! Byron deserves to be the manager if he isn’t already.”
“Just reading these reviews is great. The drama of some of these complaints is comical. “I’ve been coming here for 10 years no issues and finally I had one thing that happened I didn’t like!”, “They never answer the phone!” even though there’s probably 2 under paid and extremely over worked employees there at any time physically not able to answer phones due to high volume traffic and why can’t you learn online services exist?, “I know they didn’t try and deliver my package cause my dogs would bark at air moving so I had no visitors!” Yet they had 3 other packages delivered perfectly and the dogs seemingly didn’t notice those visitors?, “I know they didn’t attempt to deliver cause my dogs would bark at anything and there was a house full of people, but they did leave a first delivery attempt sticky note on my door” meaning they were there? The dogs are the reason I know this or that did or didn’t happen is the funniest for me. I think I found a new past time here lol.
The reality is we are not sending mail anymore. The USPS is almost broke and it’s not a tax subsidized operation it sustains itself. Sales have fallen literally by half over the past 20 years. They’re currently deferring billions in required pension payments and heavily cutting work hours and transportation expenses. I really haven’t had an issue but when inevitably I do I’m not taking it out on the employees.
Put yourself in their shoes for Christ sake cause some of these complaints ain’t Christian! Go to the place and speak with the station manager if you have an issue. If they can’t answer the phone ?use online services?, it can handle practically all services and answer most problems and if it can’t you probably should be in person anyways. I will enjoy reading these reviews though ?. I am on your side Howell Post Office Gang”
“We FINALLY have a good post office employee. Chloe does a great job, is friendly and seems to take pride in her work (all 3 are an unexpected surprise from any USPS employee). It’s been about 6 years since we had a great post office person, and we hope Chloe stays for a long time!”
