Barnes & Noble is a beautiful store and one of the best places in Lansing. It has a great children's nook that also accommodates adults, and the book variety is mind-blowing, including publications in Spanish. The store carries bookmarks, unique travel games, erasable book page pens, hard-to-find large lego sets, record albums, and fun trinkets. What they don't have they can usually get. Its cafeteria is a delight. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, eager, polite, respectful, and professional. They provide great recommendations and great deals. The staff at the mall was helpful, and security is available if needed. It is a pleasure to visit and highly recommended even to just look around, as you will find something you never even knew existed.
Try as they might, couldn't find a hard cover of the book I wanted, but the customer service was fantastic!

Still a very great place to buy books, had a little bit of trouble finding the checkout because it used to be towards the mall and now it’s towards the outside entrance. Lots of random books piled up on the old checkout counter. Service was very good. Just feels like a maze.

The parking lot is spacious and safe for a porch pick up.
