Book Stores
“From the time I walked in, the space was so inviting and the owner, Nyshell was very pleasant. Not only that, she was gracious enough to donate some books to our youth church for the black history program. The store is a hidden gem.”
“An amazing space for spiritual engagement. Many practitioners of various fields of mastery to help and guide. Various products to connect and educate as well. Just a great spot for all your metaphysical and spiritual needs.”
“A great little bookshop, right next to Summit Games, and with lots of great food options nearby. Nice selections of poetry, social sci, sci-fi, and fantasy as new books, but also has some shelves of used books toward the back, and a neat stationary shop in the very back.”
“I've been going to Triple Goddess since I was in highschool and it was in a house on the corner of Hamilton and Okemos next door to Traveler's Club. Always a great selection of books, crystals, incense, and candles. My favorites though, were the selection of tarot and oracle decks, and the herbs. This might be the only location in Lansing where you can find some of these herbs available. Long ago I got a printed natal chart from Dawn and carried it with me for years. Her and Allan are wonderful people and so are their cats. So glad the store is still in business!”
“Shirley helped me to get my first book published and I’m confident that it never would’ve happened without her assistance. She helped me to organize and design a book that was exactly as I envisioned. I’m currently in the process of completing my second book with Shirley. I’ve also had the pleasure of confidently refer many family members and friends to her. She is not only extremely competent in her craft, she is also a kind and compassionate human being. Thank you Shirley, I love you!❤️”
“Tons of used books and a small new section. However they were telling us today that they just got a grant for more jew books so that section will be expanding. Lots of comic books as well. The prices are right but I think the best part about the place is how inclusive they are. It's a very welcoming space for everyone and I would highly recommend stopping in.”
“Awesome addition to the Frandor region of Lansing. It’s a surprise to me just how many books they were able to pack in here. Amazing what Barnes and Nobles can accomplish. 5/5.”
“Still a very great place to buy books, had a little bit of trouble finding the checkout because it used to be towards the mall and now it’s towards the outside entrance. Lots of random books piled up on the old checkout counter. Service was very good. Just feels like a maze.”
“Always a wonderful experience, no matter what is going on or what weirdly book obsessed thing I ask for! Also, Towanda the trinket witch is just LOVELY and I hope she stays forever.”
