Absolute saints....all of them!! Way too long of a story for a review, but long story short I left a work power cord in Florida. Landed in Detroit. Arrived to Lansing at 7:58. Got to the store at 8:00 which is when they closed . They were literally shutting off the open sign when I walked up to the doors. I explained what was going on and they stayed open and were able to help me get a charger and saved my life.

I bought three appliances at two separate times during a 2-week period. It was a disaster both times, I should have learned my lesson the first time and never went back. They used to have a good reward system for repeat buyers but that's gone now. I didn't realize that until after my second purchase. All of that aside, my refrigerator was dented when they attempted to load it, not a small dent a Kris that started at the top and went 2.5 feet down the side of the refrigerator. I had to approach the manager myself and point out the damage and request some money back. In the end she gave me 10% off for ruining the side of my refrigerator. I needed the refrigerator and there were no others in stock so I took it but I was not happy. Any issue I've had since then has been ignored. The refrigerator hasn't quite worked properly, my complaints went unaddressed. Best buy used to be great back in the day, it's just not now. I will do all of my future appliance purchases through Lowe's. Which is what I should have done to begin with.

After about 10 minutes I finally went looking for someone to help. I found 3 young men chatting and entertaining each other not too far away but concealed by some shelving, paying no attention to customers that were in their sections. I asked who was the expert on sound bars, one was pointed out, and he proceeded to show me several models that didn't fit my needs. I explained for a second time what I was looking for, and he was like a ping pong ball, recommending things he couldn't even answer questions on. Horrible! Nice young man, but was obviously placed into an area that he had some knowledge of, but was far from knowledgeable. I may as well go online to purchase. No reason to go back to the store.

I dropped my laptop, which was blue-screening, off on a Tuesday and expressed that I needed it back asap, as I'm a college student and finals week was the next week. They said it would be done Thursday or Friday and that I would get a call when it's done. On Thursday I get a voicemail that the Recovery Key I gave didn't work and that I would need to call back to correct it. I call back ten minutes later and am told they have no idea what I'm talking about and they'll call me back once they get it figured out. They don't. That night I drive the half hour over to give them the recovery key in person. It works and again I'm told I'll get a call when it's done. Days pass, as do both of my finals, which were on Monday. On Tuesday, I'm fed up and I decide to drive over again as I didn't want to deal with the confusion and condescension of calling again. When I get there I'm told it's done. Looking over the paperwork afterwards, it says the service was completed Friday. I never got a call or a voicemail, and I know they had the correct number because the voicemail was left about the recovery key. I will not using geek squad again, at this store or any other.Adam was really nice though, and so was the girl that was there when I picked it up. I didn't ever get the impression that the mix-ups were their fault, and they were the only good part of my experience.
