They will take donations of any sort. From unopened food to gently used rodent huts and food bowls.

This was my first time going here and my family and I were truly impressed at how nice the facility was, how helpful the staff were, and how well taken care of the animals were. They had reduced adoption fees too since it was the end of the year!
The Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) is a local nonprofit animal-welfare organization founded in 1936. CAHS has been serving the Greater Lansing Area for over 83 years with a mission to promote the humane treatment of companion animals through protection, placement, education, and example.
CAHS is not affiliated with any other organizations, nor do they receive government funding or tax dollars. The shelter relies on monetary and in-kind donations, as well as dedicated staff and volunteers.
