About Capital Area Literacy Coalition
The Reading People (Capital Area Literacy Coalition/CALC) provides a variety of services to enable individuals to achieve personal goals through literacy. We provide FREE one-to-one instruction for children struggling in school, at risk teens, and adults. Tutoring is available for migrant and refugee families. Beyond basic literacy out programs include FREE GED preparation, English as a Second Language instruction, and Citizenship preparation.
