“I’ve experienced two woodworking classes (cutting board and chair making) here and both were phenomenal. Charlie and Carl are fantastic instructors who take the time to explain the tools and the procedures necessary for quality finished product. If you are looking to try something new, definitely give Lansing Makers Network a try! Also if you make chairs, be sure to bring a big enough vehicle!”

“As a member of the Delta Waverly Rotary Club we recently volunteered for another year of Bell Ringing for The Salvation Army. They are a wonderful organization and do a lot for Lansing. Overall, the Lansing area Salvation Army stands out as a beacon of hope for the less fortunate, making a significant impact through its diverse range of programs and unwavering dedication to service. It is a commendable organization that exemplifies the spirit of community and compassion. If you want to be a volunteer or need help, I suggest you contact them.”

“I had my daughters open house here, and it was a great venue. The club members were friendly and helpful. Our bartender was Kim she was very good. I would definitely hold another event here. I also found out they have rummage sales and serve a German dinner. Great place!!”

“I used to enjoy shopping here for vintage finds. It was a fun treasure hunt and I was regularly inspired to also buy books, kitchen odds and ends, and donate goods and my $ change. Your prices on what vintage items you do put out for sale have become ridiculously high and have taken the fun out of it. These are donated items and you are a charity, not Goodwill or EBay. I suspect your inflated prices are keeping away those who, like me, loved a thrift find, were weekly shoppers, and ended up donating additional $$ and quality goods. You can do better.”

“I have been trying to find a new job after suffering a disabiling illness and Peckham has been very helpful getting me connected with employers. I recommend working with them, they do mock interviews with hiring managers that have led to me being asked to apply directly to several companies, and they have relationships with employers in the area.”

“They do what they can to feed everyone well. They also keep people from holding onto their pepper spray and that means losing their peperspray and that's not a good thing for those who need some protection while they are out and about !”

“I used the covered drop off area to leave a few donated items two different times last week. A friendly and courteous attendant came out each time to collect the items and provide a receipt.”
