Courtyard by Marriott Lansing is an older hotel that is well maintained and clean, though it shows signs of age, especially in the guest rooms. While the lobby and exterior have been renovated, the rooms often feel outdated, with worn sheets and smaller bathrooms due to the layout. Guests have noted that the hotel can experience road noise from the nearby freeway, and the immediate area is not very walkable, though there is a large outdoor shopping center close by. The staff is generally friendly and courteous, providing helpful service, but some facilities, like the pool and business center, may be closed. Additionally, food and beverage options are limited, and there have been reports of missing amenities in the rooms. Overall, while the hotel meets basic needs and offers a safe environment, many guests suggest looking for better options in the area for the price.
Have you ever seen those bathtub kits that just pop over the old, crappy, falling apart, stained, broken tubs?

Reminder to myself, not to stay here again. I am grateful for the manager that addressed my concerns, but the concerns shouldn't have existed in the first place.
