“Really enjoyed my stay here. I was in town for a full week of work meetings and was able to stay focused and rested with an easy comfortable stay at the hotel.

The hotel has a in-house restaurant called The Kindred Table, which I ate at a few times and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
If I had to mention a downside it would only be the lower water pressure.
I hope to stay here again if my travels bring me this way again.”

“The room was very clean and spacious. The young ladies who worked the desk were always friendly and very helpful. The hotel was conveniently located to all the places that we needed to go to in the East Lansing area.”

“Room on top floor spacious and mostly clean: there was a greasy stain on the shelf under the bathroom sink which was pretty gross. Main door rubber stripping underneath was coming apart.

Bed comfortable but the only pillows were feather ones. Other hotels I've stayed in and 2-3 choices on the bed.

Be aware that they charge you $10/night for parking in their own lot right in front of the hotel! Ridiculous!

The one problem with noise I had was people using the staircase late at night and letting the heavy metal door slam shut. My room was near the staircase, so this was super annoying when trying to sleep. Thankfully, it only happened a few times.”

“I spend too much time in hotels due to business travel and I'm generally indifferent to or disappointed in them. This was an exception, and a particular surprise given its location in downtown Lansing (Lansing has definitely seen better days). The room was great, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed and very clean. There's also a wonderful Meijer grocery store next door which was handy for picking up water and snacks. When I come back to Lansing, I'm definitely staying here again.”

“Room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was awesome, and the fitness center was super nice. And the best part is that you literally just have to walk across the parking lot to get to Horrocks Farm Market! I definitely enjoyed my stay here.”

“Affordable, spacious, and beautifully designed studio suite featuring a dedicated desk area. heating and air is included. The suite includes a small kitchenette equipped with a microwave, and refrigerator, along with hot shower and very comfortable beds. The units are kept meticulously clean. Guests are offered complimentary hot or cold breakfasts. On-site amenities include a sauna and a fully equipped fitness room. Additionally, there is a gift shop available to meet your needs. The staff is professionally trained, extremely friendly, and always ready to assist.”

I want to give a special thank you to Stephanie at Red Roof Inn. Today was incredibly frustrating because I had issues with not one, but two different hotels that were unable to accommodate me. After dealing with those problems, I was relieved to find someone who genuinely cared about helping.

Stephanie was very attentive, professional, and patient throughout the entire process. She took the time to listen to my situation, answer my questions, and work with me to make sure I had a place to stay. Her willingness to go the extra mile turned a stressful day into a much better experience.

Customer service like hers is hard to find, and it made a huge difference. Because of Stephanie's dedication and kindness, I would gladly stay at this Red Roof Inn again and recommend it to others. Thank you for making a difficult day much easier.”

“I checked in late last night so let’s start with the positives. I was glad that I could check in with my Hilton app and keyless entry. Once I entered my room everything seems clean and accessible. I don’t get a good night sleep because I could get the temperature right. Surprisingly there’s no thermostat in the room to set the temps. It’s just a unit that you can turn on off for heat and AC. So it’s either too hot or too cold. Not sure how I can resolve it. Maybe just leave it off. Breakfast was decent. Very similar to all Hilton breakfasts with waffles and eggs and sausages. Yogurt milk and cereal. Bagels bread and pastry. Hot oatmeal and fresh fruit. They have a decent size gym. You’ll see in my video. Also they have onsite washer and dryer. $1.75 to use. Back to the rooms. They use Crabtree and Evelyn products. Nice! Desk to work with wifi. Small kitchen with fridge and microwave. One last thing I don’t like is the placement of the TV. I like it in front of my bed so I can watch some TV before bed but you can’t angle it. You’ll also see in my video. Overall a 4 star place. Flew into Grand Rapids so it’s an hour drive from that airport as well. Also you can’t angle now tip the housekeepers cashless.”

“They are in the middle of a remodel right now so it's hard to say anything about what it will be like. However I've stayed at other Marriot branded hotels and this is pretty nice for the price. Hopefully they renovate fully soon. It looks a bit of a mess right now in the common areas.”

“I had a long 11 hour day on the road from Indianapolis to north top part of Michigan. I had no clue exactly where I was going to stay to get some rest. I called and spoke to Jose. He answered all my questions so I decided to head towards the hotel from 200 miles north. Once I got here Jose was very helpful yet again. My room was nice, clean and inexpensive. Very happy and will be back. Thanks Jose”

“This is about a 3 star hotel. I don't rate it lower because it has a cool look, unique indoor pool, and it's better than I thought it would be considering the location and how it looked on the outside. It seems like a really old building which I find pretty cool, plus I was able to get good sleep at night which is a must if I stay anywhere. The building is huge! You could make a movie or video game based on/in this place! That is why it gets four stars. Me and my lady enjoyed our time here and that's all that matters. It was nice and affordable, and most hotels don't serve hash browns for breakfast so I have to give them props for that. I really appreciate the change up from what I am used to. I would go to this hotel again. The only downside that I can think of is just certain people that it attracts and also the weird bathroom layout which is quite cramped, plus the door kind of gets in your way when you're getting out of the shower. That's a hazard! The shower curtains are also a bit smaller so water puddles form on the floor. I would also hope they are up to date on their electrical system, I would hate for there to be any type of fire hazards in this place because, as I said before, the place is huge, it has many fire exits and stairwells, but you can really get lost in there. This place has better internet than a lot of hotels I have been to, still the usual hiccups, but it's serviceable. Pretty good hotel if you just passing through or just need a place to rest, swim, eat, etc.”
