A prescription for DME sat with them for a month. They didn't return phone calls or emails. Sparrow Medical Supply is totally incompetent. They need to close or get new management

Tell me why I have to pay for a ride all the way there just to drop off my prescription for diabetic shoes just to make an appointment then pay for a ride all the way home. They won't even make an appointment until they have prescription in hand

This place is a joke. They are so slow, have maybe 3 people working if you’re lucky. You get to look forward to sitting and waiting forever. And their hours are 8-5 so be prepared to waste your time out of your work day sitting around waiting for them.

Unprofessional and indifferent service. The staff should be replaced with one that is customer oriented. Hours should extend into evening at least once a week.I had a Sleep test in early May 2023. I left the sleep study with no results or consultation. I had signed a paper asking were prescriptions should be sent, with Sparrow Supply as an automatic "recommended" default. In June I received a call from Sparrow supply but allowed it to go to voicemail as I was in a business meeting. No voicemail. I had dinner with my emergency contact over the July 4th holiday who brought up getting a voicemail from Sparrow supply about my insurance. The next week I tried calling a couple times but they were not answering. Two weeks later I went in person to give them my insurance and ask why they were not picking up the phone and why they were trying to contact me through my emergency contact. The salesman said they tried to contact me several times and blamed me for not picking up. I showed him that I only received that one call and no messages on my call log. I was not told what my insurance information was to be used for or what was to be ordered. Basically, thanks for the info that's all we need now leave. August comes I get a call that a BiPAP has just arrived for pickup. I stated that I was not aware that I had ordered one and asked why (as I had still not seen any results from the sleep test). They would not answer, instead said I need to make an appointment to pick it up. I said I was too busy this time of year to make it in during regular business hours. I asked if an appointment could be made after 5PM. NO! Weekends? NO! I said they will have to wait. The first time I had available was on abruptly on Veterans day in November. I went in just after opening, first thing in the morning. Asked if I could get my machine. They said I still need an appointment and 2 weeks out on the other side of Thanksgiving. I said again I'm really only available in evenings and weekends. They said NO! I asked if they could fax my prescription the Hart Medical Equipment on South Cedar as they said they would work with my schedule. They said they would not. I asked for a copy of my script and walked it to their competitor.

They are always out of supplies. Where I have to drive back to get the rest days later.My CPAP recently quit working. I got a loaner CPAP for a couple months. At 10a.m they called me told me my CPAP couldn't be fixed. I was told I would be getting a new CPAP.I arrived 2 hours later after phone call. To drop off loaner and get my new CPAP.They told me my old CPAP was fixed. I took it home it would do the same thing that I originally took the CPAP in for. Not work correctly. The CPAP lost a O ring where you plug the A/C cord into the back of the CPAP. The A/C connector is no longer a round shape on the power supply.They charged my insurance company $944.71 for a repair that didn't fully happen. They told me I could buy a power supply from them for over $60 dollars.I ordered the correct power supply from Amazon it was delivered the next day for $22 dollars. Works better still not right.I'm no longer getting the error. That says power cord is not properly seated anymore. If I'm not wearing my nasal pillows. The CPAP turns off by itself. That didn't do that before. My opinion CPAP still not fixed right after they charged my insurance $944.71 told me I would have to buy a new power supply connector. Which I did. Cpap still doesn't work right.I'm not happy. Trying to figure out a different place to do business with.

Someone needs to really look into this place. I received a phone call that my prescribed equipment was ready and to make an appointment. I called them, asked for an appointment and was told that no appointment was necessary and to just come in. I drove 20 miles out of my way, only to be told I need an appointment. So, fine, schedule one. She said I need an appointment with a doctor first to fit the equipment to me but the only appointments available were a long ways out and during my work day. They will not allow me to pick it up and take it to my doctor to show me how to use it. I still don't have it.....

I went in to get a cast boot for my right foot due to stress fracture but could not even get it. When I asked how long I was told the purchaser was not in. I asked how long because I would need to get it elsewhere I read told that would be a problem because PHP and Sparrow has that contract. So what am I supposed to go without, miss work and walk around in severe pain. Iasked if can have someone call me to inform me if I can get it next day, Nothing I receive no call. When I called the last was rude because I said I have to have this boot for my fractured foot I can't go without. This medical supply store has certainly went downhill. I'll go elsewhere where customer service matters and I can get medical supplies.

The disorganization and staunch refusal to do more than cursory problem solving is a joke. It shouldn't take six months to handle something that could be cleared up with a single conference call. All while my room mate suffers severe sleep apnea.(Edit- 7-27)180 medical and apria on the other hand have been great. If your insurance can go through them go there. Less than 24 hour turn around for something that Sparrow couldn't figure out for half a year until we told them we would just find a different provider. The only thing they understand is when costs them money.

I have seldom encountered a particularly polite employee in all the years I have been going. They just seem truly unhappy to be there. My biggest issue are their new hours of 8-5 Monday through Friday. I guess they feel people who need medical supplies don't have or shouldn't have full-time jobs. They were pretty busy from 5-6 and on Saturdays when that was an option so lack of business wasn't the problem. The solution given to rectify the problem was to call in first so I wouldn't have to wait as long as if that somehow meant that I didn't have to still take time off work to go there?

Cant get anyone to answer the phone or they transfer you to a voicemail. I've Been waiting a year for my CPAP. However my sister is a new user and got one in a week. What a mess. It wasn't like this when they were downtown

Came here asking for knee braces. They didn't have any in size. Order takes almost a month. They referred us to a medical store that was closed and the other one didn't even have braces at all.
