“When I was pregnant with my son in 2022, one of my biggest concerns was what childcare would look like for our family once maternity leave ended. We toured more daycares than I can count, but Joyful Jungle immediately stood out because of the warmth, kindness, and genuine care we felt from the staff.
My son started in May 2023 as a 12-week-old baby, and his younger brother followed soon after. From the infant room to the toddler rooms and now pre-3, both of my boys have been loved, encouraged, and cared for every step of the way. What I appreciate most is that Joyful Jungle feels like so much more than a daycare. It truly feels like an extension of our family.
As a working parent, one of my favorite things is the app. Not only does it make billing and tax forms incredibly easy, but the communication throughout the day gives me so much peace of mind. From diaper changes and meals to activity updates and tons of photos, I always know what my children are doing and can truly see that their days are filled with JOY.
Another thing I love is how easy they make daycare for busy parents. They provide the diapers, wipes, and nutritious meals (thoughtfully planned by a nutritionist) and snacks throughout the day. As a parent of two young boys, having those necessities included is such a huge help. I joke all the time that I wish they would send home leftovers for the parents! My kids are truly spoiled when it comes to the meals and snacks they receive throughout the day. Honestly, if one of my boys isn’t interested in dinner after daycare, I don’t stress about it because I know they’ve already had their fair share of nutritious and yummy foods throughout the day.
I especially want to recognize the amazing team at the Madison Heights location. Alia, now the center director, was one of the first teachers we met in the infant room in 2023 and is truly meant to work with children. She has a calm, caring presence and leads with both professionalism and heart. You can find the assistant director, Miss. Kyleigh, at the front desk most mornings and is always kind, helpful, and welcoming. We are also so grateful for Miss Ashley, Miss Maral, Miss T’Azia, Miss Nevaeh, Miss Lacey, Miss A’myah, and Miss Megan for the love and care they’ve shown our boys over the years.
These incredible teachers fully engage with the kids, whether they’re riding bikes, leading activities, or simply making them feel special. My 3yo is so excited to go to school every morning because he can’t wait to see his teachers, especially Miss Nevaeh. As a parent, there is no better feeling than knowing your child is excited to be somewhere.
Choosing childcare is one of the hardest decisions a parent can make. Joyful Jungle has made that decision easier every single day. We have attended events at the Clawson location and have had wonderful experiences there as well, but Madison Heights is our home. Joyful Jungle has given our family so much more than childcare. They have given us trust, support, peace of mind, and a community that genuinely cares about our children.
We couldn’t be more thankful.”

“My daughters have been attending this childcare academy since 2021, and I highly recommend it! My children have been treated like family here, and I feel so secure in leaving my children in the teachers' care while I am at work during the day. The teachers obviously care about the wellbeing and education of my daughters. They are caring, patient, kind, and attentive to their social emotional and educational needs. My daughters have grown in their knowledge of numbers, letters, and other kindergarten readiness skills these last couple of years. I appreciate the frequent photo/video updates throughout the day. They keep the app updated hourly. There's a variety of activities - both indoor and outdoor! The facility itself is beautiful and clean , and creates a bright and fun environment for children. There is a large gym and outdoor, gated playground. Lastly, you can't beat the hours! As a Corewell physician, I love being able to drop my daughter off at 6:30am and drive <1mile to the hospital in the morning. Incredibly convenient.”

“My son has attended Crescent Academy since Preschool. He will be entering the First Grade this fall. We moved to Eastpointe a few months ago. There is a school three short blocks from our home. I refuse to enroll him in any other school, but Crescent. It takes me 45 minutes to get my baby to school every morning. It wasn't a second thought! This school is very organized! The teachers are hands-on. Even the teachers in other classrooms know my baby's name. They take the time with each student. I try to volunteer as much as possible. I am so thankful I found a school for my son that is everything he needs.”
