Falling Waters Lodge is a charming and cozy hotel with a fantastic, unmatched location in Leland, right on the dam with awesome sounds of the water. The rooms are cute, clean, and smell good, featuring modern updates like full tile showers with rainfall heads and small kitchens with stainless steel appliances. Many rooms offer small balconies with water views and great light. The location is convenient to everything, with super easy walkability to all the shopping and food in Fishtown, boutique shops, wine tasting, art places, and Van's Beach. The Cove restaurant is ideally located right across the river with a private bridge. The hotel is very pet friendly and the staff are super friendly, kind, and accommodating. Potential guests should note some considerations. The buildings are older and the rooms can be small. Parking is not ideal with limited spots and no designated handicap parking. The location and rooms are not very disability friendly, with no elevators and stairs for some rooms. The WiFi and cell service are spotty. The dam is loud, which most find relaxing, but the walls are relatively thin. The hotel is also very close to the sandy beach, so sand in the rooms is common. Despite these points, the experience is delightful, wonderful, and fantastic, with most guests stating they will definitely be back and recommend it.

The rooms are cute and the location is fantastic. Very pet friendly. The reason for only 4 stars is that the rooms and location aren’t very disability friendly, the WiFi is spotty (there is no cell service so be prepared) and the parking is not ideal. That being said I would definitely stay here again.
