“So charming and cozy. My husband and I loved it. Buildings are older but the updates in the kitchen and bathroom in the rooms made up for it. Full tile shower, rainfall shower head, frameless shower, it was awesome. Small kitchen but big enough, had stove and oven all stainless steel , microwave, fridge sink and dishes. Small balcony with water views. Great light and place is convenient to all the shopping and food in Fishtown. Great experience. Will be back.

Rooms: Clean, smelled good. Modern updates. Convenient to everything. Mine was small but was for 3-4 people so would check pics and room size for families.

Nearby activities: Lots of boutique shopping, some wine tasting ?????? some art places you can walk straight to the sandy beach or walk really really far for rock hunting but don’t see much else for activities. Most of these places close for winter.

Walkability: Can walk to all shopping and food nearby. Most of these places close for winter.

Food & drinks: The Cove is within walking distance and the Riverview In restaurant 2 mins. Coffee and dessert all over but check seasonal times. Most of these places close for winter.”

“Let me start by saying that this is an older motel, so don't expect a Hilton room. This is in a perfect location - only a bit away from busy Traverse City, and central to everything we wanted to do. We stayed in room #1 and had a nice bay view. The room was spacious. Nice kitchenette with normal size frig and a sink. We were pleasantly surprised to find silverware, dishes, cups, paper towels, and other kitchen amenities. Nice big closet. Great shower pressure and nice towels. There was a small beach across the street that we used for a short time and had a bottle of Michigan wine and just relaxed. Being older, there are of course updates that need to be done. Definitely need more lighting in the room and the air conditioner was very noisy. We would stay again as long as we get that particular room.”
