“Great clothes, but Value Village has much better prices. Marvelous community resource with a variety of engagement programs such as recovery or work-placement. It's a great place to walk around and try on outfits, then buy. Love you guys. Shout out to the nice girl in the parking lot, you a real one.”

“This place had really great items like traffic lights, vintage clothing, toys, cups, coins, artwork and more. Coffee for customers and a restroom were available.

My only issue was I spent over 20 minutes in this store stood next to and was passed by, by employees or vendors and it was not until I checked out that I was spoken to.

I was very interested in the traffic lights for my garage however I was not going to spent that much money when I was not greeted When I entered or while I was looking around the store which I did numerous times since I was visiting from another state”

“If you're in the area and you love vintage and nostalgia, you have to stop in!! A great old shop on Vernor, a few doors from Holy Redeemer. The building itself is like going back in time. They carry vintage clothes, shoes, even Western vintage. There are hats and purses, buttons and stickers. Lots of Detroit themed items and unique finds!”

“My wife loves this place. I was a little leery of going alone to attempt to buy a gift for her but Erin was SO helpful and SO nice. I brought pictures of my wife's jewelry and Erin was happy to take a look and help with my selection. I ended up buying a necklace and earrings that matched a ring my wife had previously purchased from El Dorado. Erin's keen eye caught that ring in my pictures and made my gift giving so much easier.
Check this place out for sure. There's a ton of cool items and you'll get a healthy dose of a truly beautiful soul named Erin...”

“Mama Coos is truly THE best vintage shop in the metro Detroit. The owner does justice to vintage decorations, clothing and textiles. Her prices are incredibly fair and her curating is spot on. For brooches, clothing, that little special something—head to Mama Coos.”

“Staff are always friendly and helpful. This hidden jem in east Dearborn is a one of a kind spot to pick up great antiques and vintage clothing and jewelry. Most people don’t even know much about this place but it’s definitely worth coming back to if you like antiques or just old stuff.”

“I came here once several years ago. I was treated so kindly and given a fair pawn amount. Later when I came to pick up my item I bought several pieces of jewelry. I felt like a human and not a way to just make money off me as a customer. I always return here periodically, just because :)”

“I see lots of low reviews on here but honestly I feel this is one of the best thrift spots in Detroit. People who complain about the closing time announcements should come earlier. These folks work hard all day long. If you’re complaining about prices, it’s definitely more affordable than any goodwill. If you don’t like the management or the prices then shop somewhere else. More for the people who appreciate this location.”

“1st time visiting this store. Clean and organized. My 10 year old granddaughter enjoyed shopping there and found herself some cool things. Love when they have half off sales. It was nice that the cashier let me know you about the time frame of returning clothing. She mentioned it to every customer she waited on. I thought she was great customer service letting us know that..❤”
