At first I was prepared to wait in long line and face slow service based on other negative reviews. However, it was a raining day today, I got there at about 10:15. The store has about 10 kiosks, 3-4 staff and only one customer in front me. Dan processed the exchange of my toasted modem in 2 min while I was in a conference call. Only needed my phone number. I was pleasantly surprised about how quick the entire process was, no questions, no testing, no id, straight to the point.

Waiting in line. Employee doesn’t say anything, and goes to back room. 20 minutes later someone else comes out to help 2 people in line. Now finally getting xumo, waiting for manager. This store extremely slow service.2 other customers gave up and just left. Tired of waiting.

Came into the store and there was one customer in front of me with an Apple bag. A young lady began speaking to the customer and a guy name Jonathan interrupted the conversation to direct the man to his desk. She informed him that was rude but he insisted the guy worked with him. I know they work on commission so it appeared to me he did that because it was a “commission based customer.” Courtney told the customer it was okay and politely moved on to me. I wish a manager was present to discipline Jonathan as that behavior should not be accepted. It’s worth noting how rude he was after finding out there was no sale.

If you are going here, 100 % you will not be satisfied. I was supported by Jonathan. We got the wrong equipments. I clarified with him there itself whether he is giving the correct stuff. Still when i opened the boxes, i found both the same stuff. Waste of time and efforts

I cannot say enough about my experience at the spectrum in Novi. After suffering weeks of dropped phone calls, not able to even make a phone call frustration had reached its peak! I was using T-Mobile. Anyone who uses T-Mobile beware it’s gonna happen to you where you are not going to be able to make calls to receive calls and much less have a 30 second phone interaction without dropping. UTTER FRUSTRATION… $((*&&$#@@%%% and that’s really all I can say in a review re: Tmobile but imagine what I really wanted to say. To my very GREAT surprise … when I entered, Spectrum, everyone was a pleasure, individuals who actually cared. Specifically, Jonathan and Dan went above, and beyond my expectations. Jonathan took the time to go over all possibilities and explained in great detail. Dan had had the same experience. I was having with my phone, so he was very helpful in confirming all that Jonathan was informing me of. Not only did they spend the time, they were generous, informative, kind, shall I go on? Many a positive adjectives pertain to Jonathan and Dan. I could not be more thankful/grateful. My only hope is that the powers that be… The higher-ups at Spectrum recognize Jonathan and Dan for their dedication to helping out just an average person. Kindness, begets, kindness, and that is one thing these two men demonstrated over and over without one iota of frustration. Spectrum is VERY blessed to have them on their team. I hope the right individual reads this and I am talking the main people at Spectrum.Too often, people only take the time to talk about the negative experiences they have in their lives. Likewise, they take it out on people. Spectrum employees had nothing to do with what created their bad day! Yet, the spectrum employees get the brunt of the clients anger,….when again, the employees are just doing their job and trying to help afore mentioned individuals. It’s unfortunate, they want to write a bad review regarding very good and helpful people. WELL I AM HERE TO SAY …. JONATHON AND DAN WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND without fail. Went in yesterday needing to get my parents account set up with cable boxes and Jonathon was the rep we worked with. He didn’t take anytime to look at the account to see that it was only set up for streaming and so he sent us home with equipment that I couldn’t set up. Found this out from the installation person when I called in for help. They were able to help me get everything set up and then I was having issues with the remotes, so I went back to the store today and happen to speak with Jonathan again. I explained the problem I was having with the remotes and he basically just didn’t care about what the issue was, he just stated do you want me to give you new remotes?. I also explained to him that he didn’t set up the account so that we could use the boxes and instead of just apologizing, he claimed he couldn’t see the account and “just did what I asked him.” I let him know that he’s the one with access to the account to see how things are set up and should be the one to be paying attention to the account as he’s doing his job - i’m not sure how someone can claim that they don’t have access to see what’s on an account since they are a sales team. All he wanted to do was say it wasn’t his fault and turn it back on me for not telling him something that I didn’t even know. Needless to say, I will not be going back to that store because I don’t feel like they care about their customers.

I've made several trips here and almost always had a good experience. When I haven't, it wasn't the STAFF in Novi's fault. It was due to contracts Spectrum is forced to sign with Google.Moving on, in terms of staff. I've met 3 different representatives.Johnathan is helpful, when he chooses. The last visit I made, however, he chose to sit in front of the TV and watch football with zero regard to what was going on around him. He also was visibly frustrated with a customer coming in with an issue, seemed bothered when he had to do an equipment return and made numerous complaints about how he "never gets off on time" while rushing other employees off their break, then passed off a customer issue to the representative assisting someone else when he was done because he "didn't know what else to do." Had he taken a second to listen to the couple he was dealing with, he would've been able to tell them what they were wanting wasn't possible.Amanda, is a FREAKING ROCKSTAR. Whatever she is paid is not enough, I assure you. She's friendly, calm, patient, caring, you name it. She understands financial constraints, she understands customers switching platforms, she is polite to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who walks through the door whether she takes care of them or not. She also puts up with Johnathan's sour attitude which is not something many would be able to do.The other lady is friendly and I apologize I don't remember her name. She and Amanda seem to be a power team for sure! She is also super patient and kind. Never heard a single complaint out of her either.

You want to see Amada at the Novi store. She knows what she is doing and how to get it done. She is not only an expert technician but excells in customer service. I only work with Amanda because she understands how important my phone is for me.

They kept trying to push the mobile plan and tv when I tried to set up internet for a new address. I had to tell them several times that I did not want anything but internet. Eventually, they gave up and just did what I asked them to. My email was also entered in wrong but thankfully I was able to fix that with the app.
