835 West Main Street, LowellHolly and her staff are just fantastic (and she has a great name but I am biased!) and took excellent care of my two cats, who were also brand new to being groomed by professionals. She said they did great and they looked fabulous. They were completely relaxed when I came to pick them up. I was expecting anxiety but they were both just completely calm and okay with everything. Both had a complete grooming, nail trim and anal gland expression.
Holly offered me her business card and also noted vets local to the area and some information and insight on them since we were so new to town at the time of our first grooming.
I was running late to pickup and Holly was so kind on the phone and understood I was trying to get out of downtown Grand Rapids and back to Lowell and so patiently held them while I got back to town. I will never forget that and I'm going to be back every 6 months to have my babies professionally cared for.
Location has great up front parking and gating for pets and owners coming in and out on the ramp to attempt to protect everyone in getting to and from the building. Handicap accessible and air conditioned with seating if waiting is needed for appointment finish-up.

They have been able to get my pet in when I have had emergencies. They text to check up on them. If you're looking for a new vet, definitely call and schedule an appointment here. You won't be disappointed.

661 Lincoln Lake Avenue Southeast, LowellI called in about a freak emergency that happened to both our labs. I thought just one would need to be seen because he had visible marks. I called back to make sure my other lab didn’t need to be seen. Dr.Bobbie said in these situations the one without any visible injuries is the one to be most concerned about, so she worked both of my dogs into her day. She did a very thorough exam, asked exactly what happened, lots of questions about their behavior since the emergency, treated them, prescribed necessary medication, and told me what to watch for over the next hours/day. She had me schedule a follow up on the one lab with less visible injuries. She was right! My lab needed follow up treatment or she could have lost her vision in one eye. We are so blessed to have vets like Dr. Bobbie (Zech) in our area! Highly recommend Dr. Bobbie!

Words can hardly describe how overjoyed I am with the results of the training of my 5 yr old golden retriever.
BEFORE training - my golden would pull hard on his no pull harness. The leash would be parallel to the ground. On a walk he would lunge at other dogs and bark at them. When someone would come into our house he would get overly excited and he would jump up on them and almost knock them over. He would sneak out, push the door open and bolt out of the house and the chase would begin to catch him.
NOW after K9 Academy International awesome training, I walk my dog through the neighborhood without a leash, he walks right next to me on the lefthand side. In fact I rarely put a leash on him anymore. When he sees another dog on the street he looks and then keeps walking. He will greet them if I allow. When people come over he sits in front of them waiting for them to pet him. When the door opens he waits for me to walk out before he comes out. Needless to say I don't chase my dog through the neighborhood anymore. I never thought it was possible for my dog to be in the yard when BBQing and not be on a tether, now he just hangs around, no tether. My friends and neighbors are no longer afraid to approach him.
