1770 Grand River Dr NE, AdaFor the brief time I took my dog here, this was by far the best experience at a veterinary office I've had for multiple different pets. I had to establish with a new vet after moving from the east side of the state, at a time when my dog's health/dementia was gradually worsening over the course of a few months. I saw three veterinarians, who were all caring, empathic, knowledgable, and thorough. I eventually had to put my baby down, and they had dim lighting, a sign in the lobby that said to please be quiet as a difficult moment was happening, and allowed me to take all the time I needed. The box with her ashes was gorgeous, and wrapped beautifully, with a thoughtful card and message. Prices were extremely reasonable. I cannot speak highly enough of the entire practice.

517 Ada Dr SE, AdaWe've had pets our entire lives, and we are older than dirt. We brought our dachshund, and now will be bringing our two kittens, to Bridges. When we first moved to Grand Rapids our dachshund developed an issue that required surgery. They did an excellent job diagnosing the problem. They put her on a special diet, and our dog has done perfectly well since then. The vets at Bridges are warm, good doctors, and just terrific people. The staff are very nice and funny. I couldn't be happier. We love Bridges!

Bridges Animal Hospital at Ada Village
517 Ada Dr SE, AdaI can't say enough about Dr. Witthoft. Their are 2 veterinarians there, but we've only dealt with Dr. Witthoft for our pets care. She is very compassionate about our concerns as well as our pets and does a super job. The veterinarian assistants are always nice and more than helpful. The office is clean and tidy. Their's plenty of seating and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Their are other veterinarians closer to where we live, but over the years I've found Bridges to be the one we visit the most!

Thornwood Veterinary Clinic
1501 Buttrick Ave SE, AdaDr Grusling is the best vet we have ever had for our pets. She is very caring, thoughtful and presents the facts with compassion. She will research to find an answer or provide theories based on sound judgement and knowledge. Highly recommend her and Thornwood.

Nature of the Dog -Boarding & Daycare Facility
5921 2 Mile Rd NE, AdaI truly can’t put into words how wonderful Nature of the Dog is! Jackie and the entire staff have taken such incredible care of my dog, Koen.
Koen has separation anxiety, so finding a place where he felt comfortable and secure was incredibly important to me. Thanks to their patience, kindness, and genuine love for every dog, he adapted so quickly. They took the time to understand his individual needs and made sure he always felt safe and cared for.
Every time I dropped him off, I had complete peace of mind knowing he was happy, safe, and having so much fun. Nature of the Dog is so much more than a typical dog daycare or boarding facility—they truly care for each dog as if they were their own.
I am beyond grateful for everything Jackie and her team have done for Koen. If you’re looking for a place where your dog will be loved, understood, and exceptionally cared for, I can’t recommend Nature of the Dog highly enough!
