While on vacation at Bass Lake, Michigan in August, Johnny replaced my 88-year-old mom’s front rotors and brake pads. A few months later, she began hearing noises and feeling a shimmy in the steering wheel. After returning to her longtime mechanic in Cincinnati, the same issue was confirmed and new rotors were recommended – even though they had only been installed three months earlier.
We called Avenue Tire and spoke with Johnny, who immediately took responsibility. He contacted our Cincinnati mechanic, investigated the issue, and then called us back to say he would cover the cost of the new rotors to make it right. He even arranged for the parts company in Cincinnati to retrieve the defective rotors so he could resolve it on his end.
We are so grateful for Johnny’s honesty, professionalism, and genuine care – especially for our mom. It’s rare to find service like this these days. Thank you, Johnny, for standing behind your work. We really appreciate it!

They did everything to make it a pleasant no-hassle transaction, and when the inevitable hiccups arose from a long-distance arrangement, they stepped up to smooth things over and get things back on track. Oh yeah, they also undercut my local options by about two to three grand for the same year/make/model of equivalent mileage, options, and equipment, which is why I went through the bother of buying from them instead of a local dealer.
