The Chippewa Hotel Waterfront is a great hotel with a excellent location. It has a beautiful view of the harbor and waterfront. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has comfortable rooms, including harbor view suites and lake view rooms, some with balconies where guests can watch the sunrise and sunset. The hotel is close to many attractions, including the arch and Ft. Mackinaw, and is within easy walking distance. The Pink Pony is a popular spot, especially at night, and the breakfast is always amazing. However, some guests think the room charges are expensive. Overall, the Chippewa Hotel Waterfront is a highly recommended hotel with a great staff and excellent location. Guests love staying here and look forward to coming back.
We have been coming to the island for years and Chippewa has been one of our favorite hotels because of the location, view and room comfort. However, the staff and management are getting less guest focused and more about the money. This is in reference to the hotel and onsite restaurant.
