“Harbour View Inn perfected our experience. Conveniently located just a short walk from the docks, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping district to be pleasantly quiet. Porter service to and from the hotel couldn't be easier, as is the check-in/check-out and boat shuttle processes. Our room overlooked the colorful gardens complete with rocking chairs on a full-length shared balcony. The room was neat, clean, roomy, and air conditioned. The varied continental breakfast was fresh and served on ceramic plates. All the amenities and final touches offered make the difference between a stay and an experience. Bravo!!! (Would highly recommend one of their packages.)”

“We have been coming to the island for years and Chippewa has been one of our favorite hotels because of the location, view and room comfort. However, the staff and management are getting less guest focused and more about the money. This is in reference to the hotel and onsite restaurant.”

“My wife has lived in Michigan her whole life and hadn't been to Mackinac Island. It couldn't have been a better experience then staying with the Bicycle Street Inn! We were staying for our anniversary and when we arrived we were upgraded to a nice sized suite overlooking the main st. Didn't ask for it or mention it was our anniversary, so it made it even more amazing! The room was nicely updated, clean, secure, and the beds were really comfortable. The hotel is situated right in the middle of the action and easy in/out via Sheplers Ferry. Thank you to the staff for making our stay memorable! Highly recommended!”
“We went to the Woods restaurant right next to the Hotel !! It is wonderfully situated in a beautiful setting ! I have been to mackinaw Island so many times but never saw this hidden gem in the woods! The restaurant is a treasure in decor and the food was extraordinary!! It look like a “ great Hall” in a movie!! Two huge fireplaces - very high ceilings and chandeliers made from Elk antlers!! It was a magical experience to enjoy this venue!!”

“My husband and I and our 20 month old twins stayed at the Murray this past weekend. We had a great time! We loved that it was right in the middle of Main Street so we could easily pop back to the room for our girls to nap. When we initially arrived in our room we attempted to turn on the TV and realized the remote was not working. We had staff in our room within 5 minutes trying to fix it. The problem ended up being bigger than just a remote and after 4 people, a new TV and a new remote, the issue was solved. They were not going to give up and went above and beyond to make sure it was functioning, knowing we would need it for our girls later. No complaints! We had a blast and loved our time at the Murray.”

“We visited the Grand Hotel in October which I think is the perfect month
Not as crowded and beautiful weather
We elected to stay in at St Ignace and take the ferry over to Mackinaw Island
Rooms the Grand go from $900-2,000 a night and I can see why
IT’S BEAUTIFUL
WE enjoyed no cars on the island
Easy walking anywhere and the shopping area is very nice
It should definitely be on everyone’s BUCKET LIST”

“My family and I had the best time and stay at Hotel Iroquois. The overall experience was friendly, comforting, and breathtaking. The hotel is in a great location and the views are outstanding. My kids enjoyed being right by the water and skipping rocks. The staff was so friendly and informative. The baggage carrier from the ferry straight to our rooms was so easy. The food at the Carriage House was so delicious along with the friendly staff and views made the whole stay so enjoyable. We recommend Hotel Iroquois and would love to return again in the near future.”
