“The sales lady I was talking to at the birches while making my purchases was very helpful and we had an amazing conversation about how her family came to visit her on the island and they coincidentally were from the same STATE and CITY that we live in. What are the odds! She told us about her life living on the island and about the horses that live there. She gave great advice for enjoying the island. The prices are great -$10 TeeShirts and my daughters got matching bracelets that they love! Highly recommend this store so check out their souvenirs and gifts, and ask questions like where you can find the best fudge! The counter lady knows!”

“On our first visit to Mackinac Island, we had the pleasure of visiting this Butterfly Store. The store was unique, colorful, and beautiful. During our visit, we met a young, 19 year old girl, from Flint, Michigan, working the store. She was knowledgeable, sweet, and patiently answered all our questions about the store, the garden, and the island. You could instantly tell that she loved her job. Bravo on hiring her 🦋 🌼”
“I enjoyed browsing this shop toward the west end of Main Street. A small but qualilty selection of clothing, goods and souvenirs. My mom bought two different sweatshirts and I took home a large coffee mug that could double as a soup bowl. Friendly staff, too!”

“Tons of beautiful artwork. Everything is inspired by the island.
Most of the items in the shop are pictures. You can buy them as the prints, get them in a frame, or they even have a few of the original drawings available. Some of these pictures are photographs and some are drawn/painted. They have a variety of different artists displayed here.”
“Very decent prices compared to other stores down the street. Got a very cute hoodie for about $60 and a cheap black unbrella for $11.99. Staff were kind. Clean store.”
“Loved shopping and browsing here while on vacation on the Island. This store didn't disappoint. Plenty of options from clothing to souvenirs. I bought several souvenirs here. Looked over many shirts but didn't buy any. Went back a 2nd time to buy something for a family member. Definitely worth checking out if you're on the island.”
“We met the owner here yesterday, he was so nice and welcoming. His shop is very charming and he’s a delightful person to talk to. Definitely worth stopping into!”
“My favorite little store here on the island. Such cute handmade gems. Really cute stickers too. Lots of options for gifts too - but not your typical souvenirs that will sit around for years - they are practical! Highly recommend. The staff is kind too.”
