“This store is great if you want a Mackinac shirt or sweatshirt that is soft and comfortable. This is not a tourist trap store with racks and racks of cheap shirts crammed on them. You don’t feel claustrophobic in the store. I haven’t found a store on Mackinac where you will beat the price for the quality of the items.”

“THIS is where you want to buy a local gift on the island. FANTASTIC local art, cards, jewelry and gifts. And the only shop that had that LOCAL feel. No mass produced souvenirs… gifts from real artists. AND it’s a must stop for anyone who’s a fan of the movie Somewhere in Time with Jayne Seymour and Christopher Reeves. This shop has been owned by the same family since the 1940’s and they honor the movie and island well.”

“I enjoyed browsing this shop toward the west end of Main Street. A small but qualilty selection of clothing, goods and souvenirs. My mom bought two different sweatshirts and I took home a large coffee mug that could double as a soup bowl. Friendly staff, too!”

“Tons of beautiful artwork. Everything is inspired by the island. Most of the items in the shop are pictures. You can buy them as the prints, get them in a frame, or they even have a few of the original drawings available. Some of these pictures are photographs and some are drawn/painted. They have a variety of different artists displayed here.”
