Booked a stay here for one night but decided to leave after only 8 hours when I discovered roaches crawling from behind the fridge. Unfortunately I forgot a pillow behind and when I called they said it wasn't found. So I'm just going to assume one of the staff decided to keep it.

Staff very rude! Rooms are horribl! there was shit on the toilet paper roll from the previous guesT, Nats all over the bathroo. My oldest daughter was bitten in the middle of the night by bed bugs!!!They refused to give me a refun! This is the nastiest hotel I have ever seen/stayed at before.

This place truly was disgusting!! Stayed here because we needed somewhere to stay for our last night in Detroit. Choose somewhere else other than here to stay! This place has roaches and you would think housekeeping was non-existent by the way the room looks. I'll be sure to check the reviews first next time but we were tired. We've stayed at other Days Inn & Suites and they were nothing like this. Definitely not worth the price either like at all. We'll extend our stay at an Airbnb next time for sure. Very disappointed.

I like this hotel, it was a good price for the week. I love that they have a little store in the lobby so when my partner and I didn’t want take out we could buy ramen instead. Also there’s all sorts of shopping and food nearby, plenty to do. The service at the front desk was good on both day and night shift, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfy. I’d definitely come back to this location.

I made my reservation weeks in advance and paid in full. Due to the fact i was not to arrive at the hotel until midnight, I called the morning of the arrival to confirm with the front desk that if arriving late, it was going to be a problem. Halfway thru explaining, they cut me off saying, "Mam, your room will be fine, its been paid for." So after driving 7 hours, I arrive at the hotel. The front desk tries to upgrade into a king because he rented out my room. He tried to give me some excuse about the system until i was very clear I knew how the system worked and that they rented the room knowing i had paid for it, thinking I wasn't gonna show up and now there was nothing to accommodate my need of 2 beds. After he made some clicks on his computer, he proceeded to go up to the room to check on it, taking 10 minutes. Once he returned and gave me the keys, I went to the room. Absolutely disgusting. Dirty towels hanging on the bar, the mirror had materials across the whole thing and hair all over the counter. There were 4 german cockroaches crawling on the bathtoom floor and 2 on the table in the room. Dried urine was everywhere in the bathroom surrounding the toilet with a bowl full excrement. The lock on my room had absolutely no power and was able to be opened without a card. I returned to the front desk and asked for gloves, a cleaning rag and something to sanitize the toilet seat and i was told they dont have cleaners and given a ice bag to cover my hand, bar soap and a roll of toilet paper to clean the urine myself. This hotel needs to be fined and reinspected. Building code violations and black mold on the walls and flys everywhere all over the ceiling. The floors are horrible, and there are families staying here. I cant believe there are places allowed to even be open like this. And to have the Wyndham name attached to it...Wyndham, you should be ashamed as well as Days Inn!I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.Noteworthy details: Require $50.00 deposit that isn't stated anywhere online or mentioned on the phone until you arrive. They do accept cash but if you use your card, the hold is released the day you checkout but its not actually available in your account for 3-5 business days and some people rely on that money so I feel this is a big detail they fail to inform you of when your making your reservation.

I reserved a room online for Labor Day weekend for a work event. This was the worst and most disgusting place I have ever been! Our first room hadn't even been cleaned. Not to mention the scum that was built up in the shower and bathroom. Then our second room was even worse! There was vomit down the bed and on the wall at the head of the bed. The housekeeper stood there as I cleaned up the puke. After I was told I needed to help her put clean sheets on my bed! As we stepped out to our car a family was leaving the hotel early and told us to as well. These poor kids and women were covered in bed bug bites! I pray every day since our stay that this place gets closed down!

The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Hasn't been cleaned and had hair and pubes in the tub and on the wall. Toilet was not cleaned and wouldn't flush properly. I had to go buy cleaning supplies to scrub the tub and room down. Smelled like cigarettes and weed. Had to pay a cleaning deposit. For what?!?! Looks like all they do is empty trash and maybe change the bedding but to be honest I doubt it. The whole place was dingy and stinky. Cockroaches. Not sure how this place is even still open. Grime built up all over the walls, floors and tub. The only thing good about it was no need bugs in our room luckily but I wouldn't be surprised if they were in that building. They obviously don't clean it regularly or thoroughly after guests check out. Absolutely disgusting!

If I could give negative stars I would. The hotel was filthy and disgusting. There was cereal in the hall floor. The carpet everywhere was dirty. Covers had visible stains. I was super uncomfortable but we were tired. My children didn’t want to stay there. We slept fully clothed with the lights on. We changed from one dirty room to the next. The hotel staff was visibly asleep when I tried to request for clean linen. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a pet!!! It was horrible.

The filthiest hotel I have ever seen in my life. Rooms & corridors stink with cigarette & weed smell. The drug addicts stay in there permanently & you see them roaming around. The hotel photos are deceiving so don’t get fooled the way we did. The photos that you see have been edited, the actual condition of the hotel is very bad. I have taken some photos of the actual condition of room and washroom to give you an idea. I don’t think that they ever clean these rooms. If you have little ones this is an extremely unhealthy place to stay even for a single night.

The ENTIRE room was disgusting!! Nothing like the pictures! Cracked plaster, and molding in the wall, and around the tub. The bed had brown stains on top of the cover as well as stains underneath, like not washed or unchanged sheets, either one is not sanitary. And now I'm in a battle to get my refund! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Don't stay here...disgusting.When we pulled in the parking lot my heart sunk. It looks nothing like the pictures. I walked into the front door and really wanted to cry. It had already been a long day and we got there later than expected. My husband and I don't have the funds to splurge on vacation. This was for us, a special occasion. A time for us. So I went to the Hopper App and I booked a room in our budget ($150..I thought that would get a decent room, nope )We walked into the non-smoking room, ya right, I think it was a NewPorts-only room . The place was disgusting, mold on the curtains, the walls need repainting, the floor molding is peeling off the wall. The toilet is dirty, the seat was down and there was NO hint of any cleaning supplies or the smell of cleaning or disinfectant. So thank God we brought some, Covid has made us a lot more prepared, my husband is immune compromised due to a kidney transplant . We decided we were going to make the best of it, it was late and the Woodward Dream Cruise was this weekend so we didn't feel like we were going to have any luck get for a new place...so we disinfected the room with spray and wipes...again it was late and we hadn't had any dinner.. we decided to walk to the market a few doors down. When we were going to the store, a fellow guest ( I wish I asked her name) asked us if we liked our room. I told her it was gross but because of time, and the Cruise we were going to try to stick it out. She said she was contemplating leaving but felt the same as we did, she was also disgusted. We went to the Market. We bought some salads, sandwiches and pop...came back and this is when I had to decide to take off my shoes...um that was really a big decision, I was so grossed out, are there bed bugs? The top on the covers feels greasy. As I was deciding, my husband pulled the covers down on the bed...big brown stains!!!! All over the sheets , the bedding looked used, it had not been changed from the last guests,...the sheets looked like the last person made the bed and housekeeping didn't even check them...I couldn't handle it!. I was willing to sleep in my car.We grabbed our things and went to the front desk. We spoke to "Money" (that was the managers name) that there was no way we were staying and that the hotel was a disgusting mess. I explained to him the whole situation, it is late, we were gonna try to put up with it..but the stains on the bed that looked like it had NOT been changed from the last guests...I was so grossed out. His night manager a tall young man was standing with "Money" and he assured me they would refund the room plus the $50 deposit they took from my account. I asked if he could give me something in writing and he said No . I asked for a receipt showing we had a problem with the room, he assured me that I would get a complete refund . He said it was not necessary, his boss would have to approve the refund but that would not be a problem, I would get back 100%. He assured me and my husband and the night manager stood behind him and agreed that it would be done, no problem. Again I asked if he would supply me with something verifying that I would get a refund. We left the hotel. (I was so tired and mad at this point, I am sitting in a parking lot in the dark in Detroit) I found another hotel that had something available and I booked it, and paid in full to guarantee the booking,but the app was set for the next day not the current day! So I still don't have anywhere to stay, and now Hopper has a hold of over $400 and I have no hotel room! But I do have one booked for the next day!! I called Hopper customer service and spoke to Claudia. I explained the whole situation up to just booking and paying for(in full) another room on the wrong day!! Claudia called the Days Inn and spoke to the night manager who said they are not going to give me a refund because the bed was a mess so it was obviously used! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Brown stains on bedspread as well as sheets underneath, like sheets weren't changed and or washed! Cracked plaster and molding, room looks overall rundown, and a VERY strong cigarette smell that can make you nauseous! There photos paint a very different picture from what it actually looks like. And have the audacity to charge 120 dollars!!! JOKE!!!

They don't deserve even 1 star When I say this place should not be open and I will be trying my hardest to make sure everyone knows just that roaches bed bugs and as I was trying to get a refund when I had to call a few people for this bc they was not going to give it to me there was many others asking for refunds and to leave which they was not trying to give a refund the place is nasty the rooms smell and r out dated falling apart idk how people was swimming in the pool They cups in the room was paper cups and they was dirty also smh sheets dirty blood on wall out side doors was not lock the towels was dirty and just trifling I wouldn't even use the water there parts was falling off the wall even tho they was very nice at 1st till I came back and said something about my unhappiness and once they told me no I started to flip and then told me he shouldn't rent to me ha a joke I will be call health department BBB and any other place I can Google in that area their is no way they should be able to stay open and not give each others they refund back when it's a nasty unsafe place to stay

This hotel is filthy and has bedbugs don't waste your time trash in the hallway, bathtub was filthy and management if that's what you call them refuse to give me a refund and priceline goes along with this scam to get paid. NO STARS!!!

Absolutely a nightmare! How can this place be in business? Absolutely filthy gross. A complete joke! How can it pass inspection? I left right away and I think got deposit back but probably not my regular room fee unfortunately. Close it down! Don't allow a nasty gross horrible place to stay in bussiness. The place should be torn down immediately!Noteworthy details: HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!
