“Joe is the owner and operator. Took my Ford diesel there for service, and every time it leaves the problem is fixed. The work is always done and a timely manner and done professionally. Joe takes the time to tell you what was done, Why it needed to be done and the rates are fair. And with Michigan vehicle rust regardless of the vehicle age that is a huge bonus.”

“Great customer service. After an accident I was referred to LaFontaine Collision Center. Although my vehicle was a total loss, Joan and rest of the staff were extremely helpful through the process. If in the future I am in need of collision services, i know where i need to go.”

“Was referred by another local mechanic. 2006 F-250 6.0. Needed a new turbo. They took care of that and found several other things that needed repair. Most of which a different shop in Harrison Twp was paid to do a year ago. The service was great and the workmanship is top notch. Gordie is easy to deal with and priced fairly.”

“What a great group of people to give my business to. Not many shops will walk you trough how your transmission failed and the parts that need to be replaced. Almost all repair shops now want to replace transmissions with a remanufactured or used transmission. In my case, the cause of transmission failure was external to the transmission. Simply replacing the transmission would have resulted in another failure and left me walking. Thank God for specialty shops.”

“From new cars to classics the folks at Muffler Doctor know how to work on your car. I came to them with a 1960s Mustang to see about an alignment, and not only were they able to do it (no small feat since newer cars use a completely different alignment procedure, and most shops don't stock the shims to do these old Fords) but the vehicle drives better and steers straighter than it ever has! Sure, it cost a little more than a modern car to align (which I was warned about up-front), but cheaper than a high-end custom shop with equivalent results. I've had other work done there as well on other vehicles, and have been similarly impressed. Quality work at a fair price. I know I'll be taking my car there again whenever I need service.”
