“I love coming here, the place is clean and it’s so easy to get in and out. The only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a male manager that was working today (9/25/23, around 10am). He was speaking to his female cashier HORRIBLY, to the point where I was about to step in. Speaking to your employees like that is how you lose staff. She deserves so much better. It genuinely seemed she was doing her best, and he just had horrible communication. He spoke to her like a dog. To the female cashier, I hope you find a better, less hostile place to work. I really hope Dollar General does something about this, as that is no way to speak to a human.”

“Really great people there, welcomed me right in and was helpful to my every request - even when I wanted to look at something delicate on the top shelf! Great stuff, walked out with more than I had intended but paid much less than anywhere else! Good candy, a key lock, and a couple other things for 6 bucks I think or so. 10/10 good customer service, wonderful experience as it was my first time in, and good selection of everything you didn't know you needed!”
“If you're looking for anything from bed sheets to Christmas decorations to books they got it and at very low prices too. Good place to shop if you're looking for presents too. If I haven't made this clear enough they have SO MANY THINGS.”

“It was crowded which is understandable, this time of year. The cashier was in a hurry and forgot to give me a bag. I live in st clair and had to go back to chesterfield to grab it. No biggie. Just a inconvience.”
“I love the convenience and the prices. Starting to get used to Dollar General being on every corner it’s nice to know I can avoid having to go to a big box store for small purchases. Brick and mortar is the way to go stop buying online so we can get our stores back”
“A wonderful place to find hidden treasures. Typically the prices are fair and reasonable for everyday necessities like coats, clothing and shoes.
BUT! The last time I was there looking for large frames and vessels to diy, I couldn’t believe how expensive they were! Luckily it was the store manager who I randomly asked for help regarding the majorly inflated prices. She explained to me that she searches social media, Pinterest, tiktok etc to see what DIYs are trending. Then prices the items they have in store higher because of this. She said that people are buying certain items, recreating them and selling them for profit. So she feels that customers should pay a significantly higher price because St Vincent’s should be the one making money. I understand where she’s coming from, it’s a charity that helps people in need, and that’s amazingly beautiful. But the per item price on some (damaged,warn etc) items was the same if not more expensive than buying them new.”
“Went looking for a blow up mattress or a fold up bed. To my surprise they didn't have any al air mattresses but did have a fold up mattress ?. Price seemed a little high so I'm going to shop around. The mattress looked comfy.”
“Edited to 5 star, not the stores fault they're not opened until 10pm like the others in the area. Still wish they opened at 7 am. Would be nice to not have to wait until 8 after dropping my grand kids off across the road.”
“Save a lot is an amazing place to shop and they have really good prices but the only thing is nothing is really organized like there's two sections of noodles and there not even in the same isle and a lotttt of the stuff is off brand so that's not helpful either because I'm so used to eating certain kinds that i don't know if there going to be good If I get a new one but the people there are usually pretty nice and stuff so I would recommend just for a day to day but like u might need to go to another one for some stuff”
“Great selection. Obviously great prices cause it's a standard Dollarama. The problem with this location is the that the aisles are very tight and often people don't not follow the arrows on the ground. Can be difficult finding staff to assist where items are too. All in all, decent location, but not as good as Northgate.4/5.”
“I bought a plunger there and it was the nicest plunger I ever purchased!!!!The store was neat clean and you can tell the plunger was stocked with love!!!Thank you for the hard hard work of the store manager!!If I could give 100 stars I would!!!”

“This dollar general is the cleanest, most organized, as well as the employees are kind, courteous n very helpful. I have 2 of these stores right around my area but I will travel to go to this one. Besides I enjoy the ride n it's a pleasant atmosphere when I go in. Thank you for that!!”
“Granted it’s the largest store chain in America, the service is pretty friendly and they offer $5 off $25 every Saturday!
This location is also a good place to find cheap stuff, especially the clearance section!”

“This store is HUGE compared to most dollar generals I’ve been too and usually very stocked on items. The workers are always super super friendly. Downsides are this locations parking lot is the WORST. And they are always so understaffed, the poor workers are running from one end of the store to another trying to stock while running register. A store this large shouldn’t have just one person on staff.”
“Easy access off from the blue water bridge and easy to find with the assistance of navigation. The Walmart stores near my home in Michigan are always a hot mess, so my expectations for Walmart is always low. The store was clean and organized, no pallets crowding the aisles, and actual cashiers available so I don't have to self-checkout. The cashier was very helpful and patient when we asked about the return policy. The next time we go to Sarnia, I would be happy to stop by again.”
“I try to check here for somethings before I go elsewhere. They have things like poster board and craft items, along with holiday decorations cheaper than any place out there. I also get my laundry soap there. I have to use a bit more than tide, but for a buck, you can not beat them!”

They are very considerate of allowing customers with e-scooters to bring in shopping with you so that the scooters do not get stolen from anyone.
