They wonder why the post offices are in trouble lately well my experience there is why !! Went to mail a package and it was exactly 4:34 on a Thursday walked in with 5 other people behind me It was completely dark and No one was there ! Web site says open till 5 pm WTH can't have a business make any money if No One is on duty ! Very upset needless to say had to take my business else where and will not return ?

My mail isn’t being delivered! I’ll get junk mail but my child support checks which according to my informed delivery account and all other mail isn’t making it to my box for a month now. I’ve tried calling, following every instruction that the United States post office has online to no avail!I watched the postman walking right past my address without delivering what I was supposed to be receiving today!Update 4/21/21 please deliver my mail to my address I’ve contacted FOC and found out that my checks were sent back as undeliverable! And this just isn’t right I support postal workers I know your jobs not easy but to lie about someone’s mail, have it returned it BS my family depends on that money! As do you depend on your paycheck. I’m three checks behind now my child has a habit, it’s called eating!

I went to the Melvindale location and the desk associate named Beverly provided me with poor service by not paying attention to questions that I need about an address change and began yelling at me. There is no need for anyone to yell at someone especially in customer service.

The Melvindale Post Office has a very large parking lot. It is easy in and easy out even during busy times because of the road it is on. Use caution, as usual.

Blonde woman working the desk is always rude. She answers questions with a very snarky tone and is very unpleasant. Consider hiring friendlier staff if you are going to have them guest facing. I will not be returning.

The lady's here are nice. My original review from over 3 years ago is no longer the case. They are nice, quick, and polite.
