⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Consistently Awesome — A Gamer’s Go-To at Meridian Mall
I’ve been visiting the GameStop at Meridian Mall for years, and it continues to be one of the most dependable and enjoyable places for all my gaming needs. Whether I’m picking up the latest release, exploring pre-owned titles, or checking out new collectibles, the experience is always a good one.
The staff here is consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about gaming. They’re quick to offer thoughtful recommendations and always happy to chat about the latest trends, consoles, or nostalgia-inducing classics. There’s a sense of familiarity every time I walk in—like catching up with friends who just happen to know a ton about video games.
The store is well-organized, regularly updated, and they always seem to have great promotions running. Their trade-in process is smooth, and I’ve scored some great finds over the years thanks to their solid inventory and helpful team.
If you love gaming—whether casually or passionately—this GameStop is worth making part of your routine. It’s been a reliable favorite of mine for years, and it’s always a pleasure to stop in.

Cameron was an amazing employee. He helped me so much with a difficult question that was out of his field even though it was out of his field he was able to answer it professionally and authentically and help me tremendously. I got the information I Needed through various smart Employee named Cameron He definitely knows how to do his job correctly Unlike a lot of Best Buy out there who try to scam you, he was trying to help me Save the most of my money and get the best deal possible I highly recommend Cameron thank you, Cameron

We paid $5 and preordered Luigi’s mansion weeks ahead of time so we could get it on the release date . I got a call a day before the release to remind me that I could come pick it up the next day. When I drove 30 minutes to the store the next day they told me that they did not have the shipment yet… I waited a few hours into the afternoon and they still did not have the game there and had no idea when it would be there. I waited until 3PM and checked again with no luck. This is ridiculous and completely unprofessional since they took our $5 deposit and told me I had until the 29th to claim it or I wasn’t guaranteed a copy. I was there on time to pick it up and the employee just said well we don’t have it, I at least should have been offered a refund for my deposit. I will never order from game stop again.

I called this location after getting poor service from another location and I must say I'm glad I did, a gentleman named Johnny answered the phone and was not only helpful but went above and beyond to help me I am Thankful for him and his coworkers when I lived in Okemos they were ALWAYS TOP NOTCH which is why I called this location after the unsatisfactory interaction with the other location and as always I wasn't disappointed. Keep up the phenomenal job Okemos GameStop.

Do not place Pick Up orders at Lansing area locations. My pre order was not ready on release day. They sold my product and cancelled one order without even sending me the cancellation email so I drove all the way there just to be told he sold it to another customer. The order was placed hours before the store was set to open. They cancelled two more orders a few days ago because they “couldn’t find the stock”. They decide not to price match when convenient for them. There are a few employees who are friendly but the customer service is absolutely bottom of the barrel. Shop online there are far better options.

The employee who was “helping” is was sitting on the back counter and playing games on his switch. It took him more than 2 minutes to realize that we were standing at the counter ready to be helped??♀️ the store looked awful too, if you come here don’t expect to actually get any help

Online said item was one price and available for pickup in store. Went to the store and there was over a $50 price difference when they rang it up.Showed them the price directly from their website and they wouldn't honor it. Said it must be a system error.

Funny how it says open but when you go there it's closed and doesn't say a reason as to why. If it's bc of employees then maybe hire people who apply

I came in to buy some games and possibly a console, staff were nowhere to be found, it's a small store and I'm a big dude so I can definitely see. The store was clean though.

Never had issues with Gamestop untill today, employees are always nice and informative. But I pre-ordered MK1 and there is not a single employees that showed up to work today. We waited and called around but to no avail. I pre-ordered this specific version of the game so I could pick it up early. It costs significantly more than the base version which comes out next week may I add. A heads up would have been nice, or at least the ableness to pick up at a different store due to the lack of employees working.
