Lac La Belle Lodge Bear Belly Pit Stop is an all-season resort with cabin rentals and a fully accessible convenience store. It is a great little store for essentials, providing everything needed for camping, including firewood, charcoal, matches, lighter fluid, milk, and eggs. The business sells gas for vehicles and boats and rents boats for fishing. The attached Bear Belly Pit Stop makes fresh food daily with excellent daily dinner specials to go, including ribs, pasties, and breakfast burritos. The pasty is noted as the best in the UP and a must try. The Reuben sandwich and french fries are also highlighted as some of the best. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are happy to help. The store also features a gift shop with souvenirs like clothing, books, mugs, tee shirts, and post cards.
