Paperback Writer Books is an excellent used book store and a great place to wander through the stacks in downtown Mt. Clemens. It is a lovely shop with a wide, well-structured selection of books and a wide variety of sections. The store has a great atmosphere, with lots of good stuff, hidden gems, and a collection of vinyl, CDs, and other musical things connected to Weirdsville Records. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and lovely. If they do not have a book, they will put customers on a list and keep an eye out. The prices are fair and clearly stated. It is a family-owned business, a destination spot, and well worth a visit to support the local community.
A pretty good selection and very good prices plus it's like combined with a record store which is kind of interesting. I wish they had more cookbooks and romance novels but overall a nice store.

Nice selection of new and used books, and it's attached to weirdsville records, so you can fill your vynl shopping list at the same time! The folks running the place are nice and very helpful. Highly recommend!
