“Paperback Writer Books is a great place to wander through the stacks. They have a wide variety of sections and Lisa and the staff are very knowledgable and helpful! If they don't have it, they will put you on a list and keep an eye out for you! Definitely a destination spot if you're looking for books!”

“How have I never stumbled into this hidden gem?! I hate having to buy books new if I don’t have to and would rather find some gently loved ones I can read. The store was well organized and the owner was super helpful, friendly and welcoming. Secured a longtime customer today! I love shopping local and supporting our businesses and this fits the bill perfectly.”

“First off, not quite a bookstore. At least not by my standards. It is however a very warm and inviting store, The staff were very friendly, all volunteers. She could tell that it wasn't quite what I had expected. Even knowing that she was still very friendly and professional, she proceeded to tell me what they did here.I love it! I'll be bringing all the books from my childhood that I have no use for here, someone will get something out of it. If you're interested in donating any type of reading material here be sure that it adheres to the Christian standard. I'd be able to bring far more books if this wasn't the case. ?”

“I am a big fan of this Barnes and Noble. While I do not like driving on Hall Road - it is always soooo busy, the store itself is lovely. The store is open and spacious. They have a coffee shop right in the middle of the store, and every time I have been to the shop, seating has been available. There is a section just for kids books, and my favorite thing? This Barnes and Noble posts cute little signs by their books - telling you what it is about, or why an employee likes to read that book. I really love the personal touch. In addition, this Barnes and Noble works with the local community. For example, I am a children's author. They have worked with me to sell physical copies of my book in store. In addition, they hold multi-author events and invite local authors to attend. I have had a very positive experience in this location and would absolutely go back!”

“Great experience here back in October. I'm a klutz by nature. Very uncoordinated. I walked into the store, pulled my phone out of my purse - and watched my phone go flying into the beautiful display of Christmas ornaments along the wall. The crashing sound it made was a nice addition. The soundtrack of my life. The lady behind the counter came running out to make sure I was okay. She wasn't concerned about the ornaments or that I was a potential bull in a china shop. I will be back! (that's a promise, not a threat) but I will leave my phone in the car.”

“2NC is a favorite spot for me and my kids. There is something for all of us. We all love finding new books to add to our collections. The "Blind date with a book" options are always interesting. They also have a great vinyl selection and plenty of manga, which my teenage daughter loves. My son likes looking at the toys and games. They also offer lots of music & movie collectibles and memorabilia. Great place to get lost in for a while and just hang out. If you at trying to sell your books, they don't always offer the highest payout. The prices to buy are very fair, tons of deals. And you can join their text program for extra perks and text coupons. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.”

“The bookstore is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a class. The store is huge! The downsides are that there is only one register usually and the card reader never works so, it's time consuming and the parking, especially when busy and bad weather, is very inconvenient. There are only 3-4 parking spaces in front, with a few handicap parking spaces. If those are filled, you have to go to the next parking lot and walk. If you've ordered a lot of stuff or it's raining, it's a pain in the butt. But, the staff there are nice and try to be helpful. With a little patience, open parking, and an off-peak hour visit, you can be in and out in under 10 minutes.”

“I have always had friendly service from the staff. It is much more convenient to get my supplies for classes from the campus bookstore than trying outside sources. The rental program is easy to check in and out, and even the used books are in better condition than I expected! The one thing I would suggest for improvement is: better instructions for working with financial aid. Although that may be more of an issue with the FA office after all.”

“New owners have taken over as of the 1st of July. Customer service seems to be something that is cared about now. The Store seems to be getting organized and shifted around. It seems they are trying to express goodwill to change the negative narrative that was created around this store. Very much looking forward to coming back to see the progress after the disaster that was the last year at this store. Bigger, brighter, more helpful and can’t forget about the amazing selection of puzzles, funko pops, games, and of course fun.”
