“When I arrived at the Mount pleasant location. There was no gate but many security cameras! I rented my unity July 1 and paid in full. I went to put some things it in July 4 and a red lock was on my unit. It was odd because it was not locked but did prevent me from locking the unit myself. I called first thing in the morning and they promptly gave me the code to remove it and put it into the lock box. They were equally as confused but they were very kinda and helpful every time I’ve called them for anything! The unit was VERY dirty when I opened it with a thick layer of sand and dirt covering the floor and lots of webs and spiders. We swept it out and sprayed it thoroughly with bug repellent due to the gaps in the lower part of the walls leading to the outside. I will say that the facility was looking pretty run down and outdated. This is my first storage unit and will definitely get the job done for the short amount of time that I need it!”
