Theresa in JC Penny needs to be talked to by management. My wife and I and our 2 boys walked in politely and nicely just asking if we could exchange some perfume that was bought for Christmas. Right away she had an attitude and said sorry we cannot return that item and said sorry I can’t help you. I then moved forward and said I would like to speak with a manager and she came over no problem and returned it for us. I understand everyone has bad days but Theresa needs to find a different job instead of customer service. Unfortunately will NOT purchase anything from them again

Man, this place.
I paced an order for pick up, and had my boyfriend as the pick up person. He went there and they said no order had been placed and they couldn’t find it. Upset because my card was charged, and confused, I just had him purchase a pair.
These jeans I was picking up for Christmas for my 87 year old grandfather. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and had my boyfriend pick up a pair. He spent over an hour waiting while these people tried to figure out what was going on.
Happy to be out, he left with the jeans.
So, here I am wrapping Christmas gifts. I pick up the jeans he bought weeks ago, and they have a SENSOR ON THEM. ? ??? I am fuming. I was over them not having my order, but this is not cool. Now, I’ll be showing up to Christmas empty handed OR I guess I could show up the pants with an ink tag on them!!
Upset is an understatement. He drove an HOUR to get these. Now, we have to drive an HOUR back to get the sensor off.
I would really like to know what they can do to make this right?

My visit here was great. Found a present I was having a hard time finding and got it at an excellent price. It was well lit, clean and the employees were helpful and friendly.

Upon checking out the lady said “would you like to save 30 percent?” I said “ I would love to save 30 percent” she said “just give me your drivers license”At what point was this unethical scumbag going to tell me I was applying for credit? You need to pay your employees more if they are motivated to run backhanded credit checks for bonus $$$

Staff is nice but pushy and not well educated on their products. I was shopping in the makeup section and I didn't even get to see half of it because I was rushed out of the store. Since the staff wouldn't leave me alone I asked for help looking for a liquid lipstick for photos. The person who helped me did find me a nice lipstick but told me it was transfer proof (is isn't). As soon as we found it I was taken to the checkout even though I wanted to shop around more. I was treated like I was going to steal/wasn't wanted in the store and then lied to so I would buy an expensive product that didn't meet my needs (the lipstick was 29$). The staff did help find a coupon on the product which is why I have two stars instead of one which took the price from 29 to 27.
