“I needed galangal, lemongrass, and lime leaves for a Hmong squirrel stew I was making. I'm not a small person and I was afraid that I might be a bit intimidating. But the nice woman behind the counter helped this big nose devil find what he was looking for with a big smile.”

I love that the Aldi brands tend to steer clear of bad ingredients that shouldn't be in food at all. Even their fruit snacks are dyed with natural things. They have a little bit of a jellyer consistency, if that makes sense but they taste like actual fruit instead of plastic.
They sell these truffle she'll noodles in a box that are one of my favorite noodles ever. I usually get checked out by a bald guy in glasses or the tall blonde when usually has her hair braided and wears rainbows. These two are really great, cheerful and super helpful if I have any questions. My fiance and I really like them, they should probably get raises, haha!
For grocery store meat, Aldi is my favorite if I can't get to Scott's and I love the fun variety of cheeses!”
“5 for 5 specials...it is hard to keep track if you are meeting requirements to get the sale price. Two people do not need 5 of one item...the mix to meet requirements can be confusing.”
“They didn't have what I was looking for which was confectioners cupcake Pop-Tarts or cereal with marshmallows in it besides Lucky charms they used to sell bulk versions of cereal marshmallows but they don't anymore which is a big bummer!”

“Large selection for the size of the store. If you need something they don't have, ask. They will get reasonable requests in for you. Pricing is pretty even.”
